Usually, the only public entries I have around are exchange letters. I'll grant access to anyone who sends a request, and I mostly post show/movie/book/theater reviews and fanfic nattering in access-locked posts.

I've written the most fic for Les Mis and the Benjamin January mysteries, but I have a very wide range of fandoms. I'm into a lot of fantasy, horror, historical fiction, and mysteries, in live-action movies and TV, books, theater, and podcasts. Pretty much the only things I don't do are animated canons and contemporary settings without genre elements.

If you're here for exchanges, I pretty much never leave fandoms, and will always welcome late treats for anything I've requested at any point!

I'm going a little sparse on my tag requests because for most of my character noms, I don't really have specific plots I want to see, I would just love any and all fanworks where my chosen characters are trans! So do feel free to go wild. I don't have strong pronoun preferences for any of my requests, although if you're going for a neutral pronoun I do slightly prefer singular they.

I accidentally gave myself so many emotions about Richard's mom on my latest Society of Gentlemen reread and I am going to make this everyone's problem. Like, she was saddled with an abusive husband, was imprisoned in an isolated house after fighting back against him, and then she died a presumably horrible death of cancer?? And the complicated emotions Richard has about her and her death are so juicy. (She was never quiet about her hatred of her children!! But!! She saved all of his letters!!)

First off, if you just want to write/draw something tragic and canon-compliant, please feel free. Art-specific prompt: I would love to see a formal portrait of her, not least so I can adopt your appearance headcanons as my own as I write my own fic about her.

The rest of the ideas are just variations on, what if she got to be happy? Give her a friend, or a girlfriend, or a lover. Have her survive and reconnect with Richard. Have her meet Cyprian as a kind of counterpoint to Richard meeting David's mom.

Hyperspecific prompt that I release into the wild and which you may take all of, part of, or none of as you so choose: what if in a parallel to Richard, she falls in love with her lady's maid or companion or someone similar? And the two of them fuck off to Europe after an inheritance or windfall makes them somewhat financially independent? And then she hears about Harry's return to the family and this spurs her to return home to London? And she and Richard have an awkward and tentative reconnection while both are trying to hide their queer identity and relationship from each other?

Will Quex/Jonathan Shakespeare

I so desperately want backstory fic for these two. How did they meet? How did they fall in love? How did they end up running Quex’s? What was Will’s life like between leaving his family and the beginning of the books? Dropping some treats and pspspsing at those of us who love to write novellas (or fics of any length) about the love stories of secondary characters in the books...

Will and/or Jon POV on the events of the books would be very fun. I love that they’re in the background snarking about the gentlemen and occasionally helping Silas and David, and I’d love to see any of the big (or small) events of SoG through their eyes

So I love threesomes and I love that Will and Jon are canonically into threesomes, and I would love to see more smut about this, whether that’s with Cyprian, with Silas (+/- Dom), or with other characters or OCs of your choice (feel free to bring in some crossover characters for porn purposes as well! I love that they end up friends by the end of the book! I love that Harry lends Verona feminist literature! I want to see more of them hanging out post-canon! I would also love to see Verona finding out about Harry and Julius' relationship and being supportive (or perhaps realizing she's queer herself).

I also would love an AU where Harry and Verona actually get married in a marriage-of-convenience way. They can team up to torment Gideon, it would be great. They are super indiscreet about their affairs but refuse to acknowledge this to Gideon. Verona has a baby who looks just like Rawlings and Harry's like, "Oh, he takes after my mother!" I have this scene in my head of Verona hearing that Richard objects to infidelity and cornering him to give him this whole speech (drawn from the feminist works of Euphemia Gordon) about how a marriage is what its participants define it to be, and if a woman were to agree to marry someone and consent to that someone keeping his lover, then who's being hurt here? And Harry's just hiding in the corner giving her a thumbs up.

Also totally down for Harry/Verona in a fuckbuddies kinda way, with or without a marriage of convenience AU

So this was spawned by the aforementioned concept of a Harry/Verona marriage of convenience AU, but it would still be fun in other settings! I just love the idea of Harry and Verona ending up attracted to each other after they both no longer have to hide their lovers, and/or Rawling ending up attracted to Harry and/or Julius or vice versa, and ending up having a foursome that could be really awkward or could work weirdly well fueled solely by Harry's charm.

So there’s an excerpt of a potential Corvin novel on the KJC Facebook group that has haunted me with a desire for fic since I read it. If you don’t have access, no worries, the important bit is that it’s set post-Band Sinister and contains John Raven telling Corvin that he absolutely should not fuck the curate of Wrayton Magna and Corvin being like “but what if I fuck him anyway~”. Corvin’s description of the curate: The new curate’s not bad, in a gloomy sort of way. A face like funereal architecture of the more magnificent sort. I say this as a compliment, you understand. What if this curate...was Mr. Dent... Please give me this story! If you want my even more niche thoughts, I think it would be very fun if Dent had a previous gay relationship that fell apart because he’s aromantic and couldn’t reciprocate his lover’s romantic feelings, and then meets Corvin and has his horizons of what relationships can be broadened (and also stops hating himself for not being able to be what the past lover wanted/needed). If you roll with the aro4aro subprompt, it could add some interesting flavor for Dent agreeing to marry Amanda on Aunt Beatrice’s say-so. Dent joining in on some Murder gatherings and Guy and/or Amanda recognizing him would be very fun, as would Dent standing up to and/or scandalizing Beatrice on Corvin’s urging/with Corvin’s support.

I just want Amanda to get to join the polycule and slut it up! I ended this series so unexpectedly fond of Odo, and I want to see his life post-canon!. Based on absolutely nothing, I assume Laura and her father have a good relationship, and I’d love to see Odo’s feelings about joining like, an actually functional and loving family. Recent episodes have renewed my craving for gay Eddie - I'm cool with him being another sexuality as well for this prompt, but I'm especially fond of him realizing he's gay when he and Buck talk about Buck's bisexuality and he realizes that a) he, much like Buck, has been assuming that all guys think about how attractive other guys are and that is not the case, and b) unlike Buck, he's not actually sure he's like, sexually attracted to women. (Please don't demonize his past girlfriends though! I'd prefer a take where they were decent people, Eddie's just coming to some realizations about himself and how he feels about women.) Possibly this could include Eddie asking questions about Buck's sexuality that initially come across as biphobic, but are really him coming to a realization about his own feelings about his relationships with women. I am just really in love with the various headcanons I've seen about the Leverage team being trans. I've requested relationship tags that include all the characters I especially love to see as trans, but feel free to include any other characters (in platonic or romantic/sexual contexts) from OG Leverage or Redemption, cis or trans. I'd prefer the characters to be the genders they are in canon (so like, Alec & Eliot as trans men, Sophie & Parker as trans women) or nonbinary, rather than having their canon gender be their ASAB. You can do an origin story for any of the characters' transitions, a work where they're doing canon-typical heists and incidentally everyone is trans, or anything in between! Please give me this story! If you want my even more niche thoughts, I think it would be very fun if the curate had a previous gay relationship that fell apart because he’s aromantic and couldn’t reciprocate his lover’s romantic feelings, and then meets Corvin and has his horizons of what relationships can be broadened (and also stops hating himself for not being able to be what the past lover wanted/needed).

Idk if it’s what was intended, but the description of a gloomy-looking curate sounded familiar, and if you roll with the aro4aro subprompt, it could add some interesting flavor for Dent agreeing to marry Amanda on Aunt Beatrice’s say-so. So first off - what if Simon is a trans man? I've been toying with this AU since watching the first season. I love the extra dimension it would add to Simon insisting he'll never marry, and what it might do to the Simon/Daphne plot. Perhaps the whole marriage thing happens without Simon and Daphne having a chance to talk about his gender, or he doesn't tell her, and she has no idea that he's any different from cis men due to her extreme naivete; or perhaps he tells her he's trans, but again due to her extreme naivete, she doesn't realize exactly what that means and he doesn't realize that she doesn't realize until she tearfully tells him she thinks she's infertile.

And if you would prefer Daphne as trans - Daphne, as the perfect woman who everyone else aspires to be, realizing "she's" actually a man is a very compelling story to me, and I'd love to see how he comes to this realization and where he goes from there. Social transition would be pretty impossible with how well-known the couple is, so maybe they move off to a foreign country where Daphne can live as he pleases? Maybe Daphne is fine appearing in girlmode for a few social engagements and living how he wants at home otherwise? If you want to do t4t Simon/Daphne, Simon coming out to Daphne being Daphne's point of gender realization would be very fun.

Impregnated During Captivity and Must Escape While Pregnant

My main thought here is – so, Andy has lost her immortality during the time Merrick has the team captive. What if that captivity lasts a little longer, and Andy's loss of immortality also brings with it a return of fertility? What if, either through some very scientific IVF or less-scientific rape or fuck-or-die with her teammates (assuming for porn reasons that they are able to make immortal semen non-sterile), Andy gets pregnant? And then, obviously, she kicks ass and escapes, and then is left to deal with the pregnancy.

Very interested in the complex emotions that this pregnancy might cause. On the one hand, this is something Merrick (or your choice of evil impregnating scientist, should you wish to set the fic sometime else) did to her, a memory of being powerless for the first time in centuries. On the other hand, Andy's blood family has been dead for millennia. Her culture has been dead for millennia. What would it mean to her to have a child of her own after all this time, after long ago writing it out as impossible? (What would it mean to Andy to sing a baby a lullaby in a language that she long ago thought she'd forgotten every word of?) And the anxiety of not knowing if the experimental conception also did something strange to the baby's aging or the baby's anything else.

I'm also very into the logistics of the pregnancy. They've got Copley to help cover up medical acquisitions and visits, but surely there's only so much he can do. And of the characters, Nile and Copley would be the only ones who have any sort of knowledge of modern obstetrics and childbirth, and I'd love to see Andy making a birth plan (although I'm sure she'd flat out refuse to call it "making a birth plan"). I have no justification for how this would happen, but Andy attending pre-birth classes (possibly with a different person in tow each time) and reacting to modern attitudes toward and expectations of pregnancy has the potential to be hilarious. (Outsider POV on all of the other class members trying to figure out what's up with Andy, perhaps?)

Simon Basset/Daphne Bridgerton pregnant with someone else's baby (Bridgerton) – I just think it would be fun (for me) and traumatizing (for Daphne) if she gets pregnant during her season, and Simon proposes to save her virtue. It could be the result of rape (Nigel Berbrooke’s assault goes further? Anthony’s possessiveness takes a dark turn? Anthony or anyone else is able to coerce her into sex because she doesn’t know what they’re doing is actually sex?), an uncharacteristic fling, or any other ideas you have. This could be fun in conjunction with Simon’s reluctance to replicate his father’s abuse – he’s convinced he doesn’t have to care about this baby, and if he’s not its father he won’t run any risk of abusing it, only to find himself falling for the baby. I also think it would be a fun AU if one of the reasons Simon is so insistent on not marrying and having children is that he’s a trans man, and so marrying an already-pregnant wife is convenient.

Perhaps something with Attolia, Eddis, and Sophos back home worrying about Gen, or them all reuniting after their victory. I also really love the idea that they can be themselves rather than their ruler identities around each other. I am also totally open to Eddis as well as Attolia being pregnant!

Pregnant Attolia & Eddis (Queen's Thief) – I always want to see more of these two interacting, and I feel like during pregnancy Attolia might need someone to turn to who at least conceptually understands the struggles of monarchy and pregnancy in a way her husband won’t. Attolia/Eddis also welcome!

Pregnant Attolia/Eugenides/Relius (Queen's Thief) - The platonic relationship we see in the books already fascinates me (the loyalty kink! The intersection of personal and political relationships!), and I’m so here for making it explicitly romantic. I’m especially interested in Relius’s imprisonment and the aftermath, but I’d also be into pre-canon Irene/Relius that grows to incorporate Eugenides (as an Irene-centered V or a triad), or pretty much anything involving this ship. I’m also really into the mess that results from tangling duties as a monarch with personal feelings.

Pregnant Attolia/Eugenides/Costis Ormentiedes (Queen's Thief) – I love works that play with how Costis’s views of Attolia and Eugenides change as they end up in a relationship. We see his disdain for the king change to respect over the course of King of Attolia, and I’d love to see how a relationship would play into that. And as for Attolia, Costis basically worships her, and I’d love to see how that worship fades into a more human respect and love.

Polyship Enjoys PIV Without Fears of Unwanted Paternity While One Member is Pregnant – if you’ve seen any of my prior Queen’s Thief requests, you’ve probably seen me DNW PIV sex with Attolia or Eddis unless they’re pregnant. And Stork Swap is the perfect time to explicitly request PIV sex while Attolia (and Eddis, if you wish to do the foursome and have Eddis be pregnant too) is pregnant! I’m very into being able to fully relax during sex now that she knows there’s no chance of a conception with unwanted paternity, and enjoy types of sex she’s had to avoid before.

Couple Brings in Third For Conception Purposes – or asks their already-established third if he wouldn’t mind being the secret biological father of Attolia’s baby, as one does. For the reason behind it, perhaps Gen is trans, or infertile, or the gods have foretold that Eugenides cannot father their children at risk of catastrophe/recessive Eddisian genetic condition/etc (or if you want to get super angsty with it, Gen prays to the gods for the reason behind Attolia’s miscarriage and is told any children fathered by him won’t be born alive). I’m o into all the complicated emotions this would create, with Gen and Attolia needing to find someone they can trust to never reveal the baby’s true paternity, and the bio father having to agree to life at a remove form the baby he fathered, and probably feelings of inadequacy on Gen’s part. I would be very into Gen worrying about how he’ll feel about the baby and then as soon as the twins are born (assuming you go with canon), he loves them instantly and just like he was the one who conceived them. Also them finding a way to include the bio dad in the baby’s/babies’ lives in spite of the scrutiny the royal heirs would be under would be lovely.

For these tags, I want Rolan as the abused party rather than Gale, and I don’t want Gale relating to Rolan by comparing Mystra to Lorroakan.

In general this request is geared towards the Rolan & Lorroakan relationship and its aftermath, although I’m totally down for you using someone or something else to fuck Rolan up if you’d rather! I love Rolan being self-reliant to a fault and not wanting to let on what’s going on to others, and also Lorroakan telling Rolan that everything he’s doing is just normal wizard apprentice stuff (possibly with a fantasy-racist side of “of course a tiefling couldn’t be expected to understand our fine magical traditions”). Alice Fenwick/Marianne Loxleigh – I really thought the book was gonna end with these two kissing! Since it didn’t, I turn to fanworks. I’d love to see them having fun on the Continent (sexy fun or otherwise), running a con together for whatever reason you can come up with, Alice being excited about math, Alice and Marianne’s letters home to Hart and Robin (perhaps contrasted with showing the bits they didn’t put in the letters).

Archie Curtis/Daniel da Silva & Henry Curtis/Captain Good – I am a sucker for “meet the family” stories, and I also love the idea that Archie was raised by his gay uncles and yet was still baffled to discover that he himself is gay. (Did he know they were a couple, or is he figuring it out during the course of this story? Either is good with me.) I also love Daniel being nervous to meet Archie’s family (although I’d like it if they end up getting along well).

Doomsday Books

Berengaria d'Aumesty/Emily Doomsday - I would love to see how they got together! We see just enough of their relationship in the book to make me fall in love with them, but not nearly enough to satisfy me. I also would love to see more about Berengaria’s art and Emily modeling for her. Also, what does Emily think of Berry’s art? Is she also big into art, and they have conversations about theory and stuff, or does she just love her girlfriend’s stuff and not care so much about art in general? Emily discovering an interest and learning more about art theory/history/etc would be very fun. Also! Post-canon fic/art about the aftermath of canon! Berry has learned some very horrible things about her parents, and is also completely free from their influence for the first time! That’s a lot to deal with!

Joss Doomsday/Gareth Inglis - I love Gareth/Joss and am down for anything you want to write/draw about them! Pre-canon looks at their relationship and/or how they met, post-canon, fluff, fights they’ve had, smut...I am also very into the inner workings of estates and would love to see more of Gareth getting used to being a baronet and taking over from his father, and Joss continuing with his responsibilities as a Doomsday, and how those two might intersect. Also, what happens with them and their relationships with Luke in between books!

Joss Doomsday/Gareth Inglis & Luke Doomsday – I just want to see more of Luke’s relationship with Joss and Gareth, especially between books. I loved how Gareth was able to relate to Luke, and seeing Joss try to do better by Luke. I’d love to see Luke writing letters home from school, or visiting on school breaks, and I’d also like to see Luke returning to Gareth and Joss after his last disastrous pre-Rufus secretarial position.

Laura Colefax/Odo d'Aumesty - I ended this series so unexpectedly fond of Odo, and I want to see his life post-canon! For people who don’t remember, Laura is his fiancee, the daughter of the curate he asks for help with his investigation. Based on absolutely nothing, I assume Laura and her father have a good relationship, and I’d love to see Odo’s feelings about joining like, an actually functional and loving family. I want to see the two of them nerding out about history together. I am totally down for smut and would especially love to see them doing some incredibly nerdy and intricate roleplay (possibly with one of them getting derailed correcting the other on historical inaccuracies), or something genderfucky with Odo roleplaying as a woman and/or Laura as a man

Odo D'Aumesty/Luke Doomsday, Odo D'Aumesty/Rufus D'Aumesty/Luke Doomsday – okay, so my main prompt here is “Odo praise kink”. I think Odo should fuck someone who says nice things about him and get very flustered about it. Also, imagining Odo in the middle of Luke and Rufus’s droit du seigneur roleplays is very fun to me. Odo being surprisingly good at sex when it plays to his historical interests, or alternatively Odo bringing up historical accuracy criticisms of the roleplay scenario. If you have another vision for these ships, go wild! I just really want Odo happiness and/or Odo sex comedy.

Lord Corvin & Rufus D'Aumesty, The Murder & Rufus D'Aumesty – so like, Rufus doesn’t have a ton of Society Friends now that he’s an earl, and Luke knows the Murder, some of whom are also nobility...Luke should make an introduction. Rufus at a Murder party, Rufus getting estate management tips from Philip, Rufus scandalizing the neighbors with his friendships, or anything else you can come up with!

Lord Corvin/Rufus D'Aumesty/Luke Doomsday – I don’t even have prompts here, just please give Corvin a threesome with Rufus and Luke! I was so excited to see Corvin pop up in Nobleman’s Guide, and even more excited that he and Luke had hooked up. So clearly Luke should invite Corvin back! Or feel free to combine with the above prompts and do Rufus and Luke at a Murder orgy.

Rufus D’Aumesty & Any of his Cousins – okay so I love how when faced with the horrible D’AUmesty clan, Rufus sets about figuring out how to get along with his cousins, and I want to see his post-canon interactions with one, two, or all three of them! Meeting Odo’s fiancee, working with Fulk on the estate (listen I am such a slut for estate maintenance), talking art with Berengaria, or anything else you can think of!

Rufus D’Aumesty/Luke Doomsday - I love these two so much will enjoy anything shippy and/or smutty about them. I love the roleplay aspects of their sex scenes in the book and would love to see them exploring further scenarios! (What if they fucked in the Mithraean temple to help Luke overcome his bad memories of almost dying...) I also love the care Luke takes with accommodating Rufus’s dyslexia, and would love to see more of them running the estate together with their complementary skillsets.

Band Sinister

Albert "Cornelius" Scrope/Sinclair – We barely see anything about these two in canon, and the fandom is so good at fleshing out minor characters. I would love to see how they meet the Murder, how they get hired, an outsider POV on canon or made-up Murder shenanigans, or anything else you’d like to write!

Lord Corvin/Amanda Frisby/David Martelo - There's an original works ship that's been nominated for several multifandom exchanges, Crown Princess Who Was A Starving Writer In Her Former Life/Faraway King Who's A Fan Of Her Books, and I keep thinking about Princess/Faraway King/Princess’s or King’s Advisor as an AU for Amanda/Corvin/David respectively. I also want to see more Amanda & Corvin (and Amanda & Murder) interactions in a canon setting, and David being a little exasperated and a lot endeared by the antics Amanda and Corvin get up to is a great dynamic. I would also love smut with Amanda enthusiastically enlisting Corvin to help David explain to her and demonstrate all of these sex acts she’s heard vague whispers about.

Amanda Frisby/David Martelo/Any Character - listen I just really love Amanda getting to have a fun and sexy time post-marriage to make up for her pre-marriage life, including through threesomes (or moresomes)! This can be a sexual arrangement or Amanda and/or David falling in love with someone or someones, and I’m also down for crossover characters, historical figures, and OCs

Lord Corvin/Country Curate – so there’s an excerpt of a potential Corvin novel on the KJC Facebook group that has haunted me with a desire for fic since I read it. If you don’t have access, no worries, the important bit is that it’s set post-Band Sinister and contains John Raven telling Corvin that he absolutely should not fuck the curate of Wrayton Magna and Corvin being like “but what if I fuck him anyway~”. Corvin’s description of the curate: The new curate’s not bad, in a gloomy sort of way. A face like funereal architecture of the more magnificent sort. I say this as a compliment, you understand. Please give me this story! If you want my even more niche thoughts, I think it would be very fun if the curate had a previous gay relationship that fell apart because he’s aromantic and couldn’t reciprocate his lover’s romantic feelings, and then meets Corvin and has his horizons of what relationships can be broadened (and also stops hating himself for not being able to be what the past lover wanted/needed).

Lord Corvin/Mr. Dent – Basically just take my Corvin/Country Curate prompt but make it Mr. Dent. Idk if it’s what was intended, but the description of a gloomy-looking curate sounded familiar, and if you roll with the aro4aro subprompt, it could add some interesting flavor for Dent agreeing to marry Amanda on Aunt Beatrice’s say-so. Dent joining in on some Murder gatherings and Guy and/or Amanda recognizing him would be very fun, as would Dent standing up to and/or scandalizing Beatrice on Corvin’s urging/with Corvin’s support.

Society of Gentleman/Band Sinister Crossover

The Murder & The Ricardians – listen, these two queer friend groups could not be more different and I so want them to collide. Does one group need the other’s help for something? Does Corvin hear about the Ricardians and make it his life goal to get them to attend a party and/or corrupt them? Does it become a Murder/Ricardians relationship where they all have an orgy?

Society of Gentlemen

David Cyprian & Silas Mason -I loved what we saw of their friendship in the series and I want so much more! Playing board games together and talking, Silas’s staunch convictions vs Cyprian’s careful apoliticalness. I also love the potential for hurt/comfort here - I would love to see Silas being the first person to notice that something bad happened to David or the first person David tells, or vice versa, with it being harder to face Richard or Dom than Silas or David.

David Cyprian/Silas Mason – everything above still goes, and really I just think it would be fun if they hooked up.

David Cyprian & Silas Mason & Harry Vane – I love David & Silas and Silas & Harry as relationships, and I think it would be very fun to combine them and have Cyprian and Harry interact! I’m especially interested in seeing Silas’s post-canon life, or it would also be very fun to have something bad happen to Silas, and Cyprian and Harry having to work together to help him (whether that’s getting him out of trouble, helping him recover, or whatever else)

Silas Mason & Julius Norreys – fascinated by the relationship between these two and how they get along better than anyone would expect (ie getting along at all). I’d love to see them becoming friends post-canon, and I’d also love fic where something bad happens to Harry, and Silas and Julius either end up waiting for him to recover or working together to help him get out of trouble or get revenge (or just getting revenge without telling him what they’re doing)

Gabriel Ashleigh/Julius Norreys/Harry Vane/Francis Webster – I love pretty much all permutations on Ricardians group sex, and this is a group I don’t think I’d thought about before. With Ash and Harry getting along so well as like, the rambunctious puppies of the group, I feel like it’s not too hard to get them and their boyfriends together. Does one of these four have a specific multi-person fantasy they want to act out? Does someone want to be gangbanged? Does a card game get sexual?

James Oxley & The Ricardians, Silas Mason & The Ricardians – listen I just think the non-gentleman boyfriends should get to come to the Ricardians’ social gatherings too! Like, does Silas particularly want to come to the private rooms at Quex’s? Not really. Will he argue to the death for his (and Oxley’s once he’s in the picture) right to go there with Dom just for the principle of the matter and will Harry join in once he catches wind? Absolutely. It would be awkward at first, but I’d like to see at least some of the other Ricardians start to get along with Silas and/or Jamie by the end. I only nommed the gen versions for space, but I will not turn down a sexier take either. (Also, I have a WIP where on Jamie’s first time meeting the rest of the Ricardians, the group invites Jamie to play cards and Jamie says their bets are probably too rich for his income, and Harry panics and proposes strip ~~poker~~picquet, if that strikes your fancy and you want to do your own version.)

The Ricardians/The Ricardians – it would be an absolute disaster if the Ricardians had an orgy and I think they should, whether it’s of their own volition or they get dosed with sex pollen somehow or there’s a curse put on them that can only be cured through group sex and/or a gangbang or whatever other justification you want to put here

Frank Merrick/Lucien Vaudrey - Listen, I just think they should hook up at some point when they're in Shanghai together. Mutual pining is great, hurt/comfort (with either one being the hurt party) that leads to romance and/or sex is great, the two of them being friends with benefits in between Lucien's ill-advised relationships and Merrick's less-ill-advised relationships is great! The tension in the beginning of their relationship where all Merrick knows is that Lucien is a Vaudrey, and then realizing that Lucien is a much different and more fun/less rapey flavor of asshole is great. No dom/sub preference or top/bottom preference here, but I do think it would be a fun ship dynamic if Merrick is the only person Lucien wants to sub and/or bottom for.

Stephen Day/Frank Merrick/Lucien Vaudrey - In my latest reread of the series, I kept thinking about a version of the first book where Lucien and Merrick are already together, and how the Lucien/Stephen relationship progression would change. I tend to see it as a V with Crane at the center, although I'd greatly enjoy seeing Stephen and Merrick interact more in a platonic (or not so platonic if you wanna go full triad) way. I'd prefer a work where we can see the ship eventually get to a comfortable place with each other, but starting out with jealousy on Stephen and/or Merrick's part and getting into some angst before that resolution is very welcome! (Basically the only thing I don't want is a fic that's entirely angst about how Stephen or Merrick wishes they were the only person Crane is dating)

Ned Hall/Crispin Tredarloe - I want to see more of their future as Justiciars! I'm especially interested in Jerry and Temp having a friends-with-benefits dynamic, where they're not In Love with each other but enjoy hooking up (or maybe they have some sort of kink relationship that they don’t necessarily conceptualize as sex). James dressing Jerry up in opals would be delightful, as would Alec and Jerry bringing in Temp for a more involved fantasy that needs a third person. The only thing I really don't want is for James' anger at Jerry in Gilded Cage to be due to sexual or romantic jealousy.

I would love to see more post-canon with them (especially with Ross’s family actually ending up at Hawthorn’s estate and Hawthorn interacting with them), more sex scenes and the roleplay they might get up to, or Ross making Hawthorn help him with plotting out or blocking out scenes for his erotica

Maud Blyth/Violet Debenham – these two have the f/f dynamic of my dreams! I love Maud’s inexperience but determination to try Everything, and Violet’s guardedness and how she gradually opens up, and the way they resolve their fights by fucking it out. I’d love to see more of them interacting post-canon now that they’re in a more normal environment than the whole “fighting against evil wizards to prevent the End Of The Magical World” and how their relationship might change, more of Maud and Violet exploring sex and kinks together (whether or not they end up actually liking those kinks), or more medium shenanigans (regular ghost conversations, or I have a weird desire for Maud and Violet to have a threesome with a ghost). Robin Blyth/Edwin Courcey – one of my favorite things about these two is that Robin is so impressed by Edwin and his magic, and how that’s so at odds with how Edwin has been seen his entire life. I also really loved the contrast between how they see each other and how other characters see them, and I think outsider POVs for these two are especially fun. I would love more of Edwin’s magical research (especially post-canon now that magic has changed so much!) and more of the two of them interacting with Penhallick. (Also the vines in Restless Truth made me want some sexy intentional vine bondage during sex, or other sex involving Edwin interfacing with Penhallick). Also! More of Maud interacting with Robin and Edwin!

Pheris Erondites & Eugenides, Pheris Erondites & Relius, Pheris Erondites & Kamet – I just love Pheris and his role in the narrative so much! He had such a horrific childhood, and I would really like to see him get to relax and heal post-canon. And like, the whole book is about his life in the palace adjusting to no longer being under the thumb of and hiding from his abusive family, but I always enjoy more along those lines. And while life at the palace is certainly BETTER than with his family, he's still trapped in the middle of political machinations and adult concerns that he doesn't entirely understand, and I'd love to see how that compares and contrasts to his time with his family. As well as how the war affects him, and how his relationships with the characters I selected change as he grows up! And then some specific prompts for the individual relationships:

Pheris Erondites & Eugenides (Queen's Thief) – I just really want to see more of them together post-canon, or something from Gen's point of view during canon. I love their relationship in canon, with Gen recognizing Pheris's true self and rescuing him from his family, but also having to involve him in the war and being harsh with him because of it.

Pheris Erondites & Kamet (Queen's Thief) - I really love the tutoring and relationship we see in canon and I want to see more of it! Either something set during canon or something post-canon where we see how their relationship develops as Pheris grows into adulthood. Attolia | Irene/Eugenides/Costis Ormentiedes - One of my favorite things about this ship is the power imbalance. Costis very clearly views Attolia and Eugenides as monarchs rather than humans, which would make his relationship with them very interesting indeed? Who invites him to bed? Do they prefer to order him around, or let him take charge? If you want to get into D/s dynamics, I have a vague headcanon that Gen is a stubborn and mouthy sub—although things with Irene are complicated now because of their history, of course (maybe that’s where Costis comes in!). I’d love to see the same themes of overcoming power imbalance in non-porny works as well. I’d also love to see more of Attolia and Costis interacting, if you’d like. We see a fair bit of Gen and Costis interacting in The King Of Attolia, but I’d love to see Costis and Irene talk, especially involved in this romantic relationship (whether as a triad or two sides of a V).

Attolia | Irene/Eugenides/Kamet/Costis Ormentiedes - I just love combining all my favorite ships, and I'd love to see how this would change the Attolia/Gen/Costis and Kamet/Costis dynamics, assuming you're going for a union of two established ships. I really love the Kamet&Gen dynamic in canon, perhaps it's a scheme by Gen that brings all four of them together.

Attolia | Irene/Eugenides/Relius (Queen's Thief) - The platonic relationship we see in the books already fascinates me (the loyalty kink! The intersection of personal and political relationships!), and I’m so here for making it explicitly romantic. I’m especially interested in Relius’s imprisonment and the aftermath, but I’d also be into pre-canon Irene/Relius that grows to incorporate Eugenides (as an Irene-centered V or a triad), or pretty much anything involving this ship. I’m also really into the mess that results from tangling duties as a monarch with personal feelings.

Kamet/Costis Ormentiedes (Queen's Thief) - The culture clash between these two, Kamet adapting to life as a freedman, the sharing of myths and legends, Costis's mediocre Medean...there's nothing I don't love about these two and I desperately want more shippy content for them in my life. I'd love to see Kamet telling Costis more legends, how a romantic relationship would develop in parallel to the events in TaT, or what the two of them get up to during or after Return of the Thief (especially the war from their point of view!)

Relius/Teleus (Queen's Thief) - I love what we see of their relationship in the books, and just really want more about them. Us seeing their relationship only from an outsider POV leaves lots of room for explorations of canon events from Relius or Teleus's POV, and I would also love to see more of their jobs. I'm also really into the relationship dynamic of Relius having many lovers and Teleus only having Relius, and would love to see something about Relius continuously returning to Teleus (or perhaps something smutty with Teleus fucking Relius after Relius comes back from another lover)

You’ve intrigued me, I keep mulling the ship over and I want to see them together. If you have a fanwork concept, please feel free to run with it! If you want more prompts, I really love ships with a culture clash, and the different attitudes towards sexuality and also towards magic are especially interesting to me. I also love post-canon works, and I want to see Felix adjust to a new country and a new life, and Kay adjusting to his disability

Mildmay Foxe/Any Male Character - All I want is to see Mildmay’s Big ~~Bisexual~~ Janus Awakening. His insistence that he’s not molly seems very tied to his past with Kholkis and I would love to see him having a trauma reaction to realizing he’s attracted to/in love with a man. I’d also love to see someone force him to lie back and enjoy himself in bed instead of being so giving (which also seems tied to his past, so you could go hurt/comfort and/or traumatic backstory exploration with that too). Mildmay’s shame about his intelligence and scar and speech difficulties and limp made me love him so much, and I would love to see a lover who maybe helps him work through some of that self-hatred. I also really love his storytelling and endless history/folklore knowledge!! And Mildmay noncon is always welcome, with rapists of any gender (caveat – I’d prefer Felix not be the rapist, unless it’s a fuck-or-die situation with Felix being forced).

Mildmay Foxe & Felix Harrowgate – (if you want to take any of the ideas here and make them Mildmay/Felix for my Mildmay/Any Man prompt above, feel free!) I love the way we see their relationship grow through the books, and how much better of a place they’re in by the end of the books (of course, since it’s Felix and Mildmay, they’re both still kinda fucked up), and something set anywhere along that spectrum is great. The obligation d’ame is very fun, and fanworks featuring it are fun! I also love the ghost elements of the book, and would love to see the two of them facing down more ghosts together! Also anything with trauma aftermath and/or recovery, whether it involves one of them comforting the other or them antagonizing each other further.

I also want to see more Amanda & Corvin (and Amanda & Murder) interactions in a canon setting, and David being a little exasperated and a lot endeared by the antics Amanda and Corvin get up to is a great dynamic. I would also love smut with Amanda enthusiastically enlisting Corvin to help David explain to her and demonstrate all of these sex acts she’s heard vague whispers about.

I love Corvin being Amanda’s biggest fan in regards to her novels, and I’d love her using him as a beta reader or asking for advice on plots or sex scenes. For people who don’t remember, Laura is his fiancee, the daughter of the curate he asks for help with his investigation. Based on absolutely nothing, I assume Laura and her father have a good relationship, and I’d love to see Odo’s feelings about joining like, an actually functional and loving family. I want to see the two of them nerding out about history together. I am totally down for smut and would especially love to see them doing some incredibly nerdy and intricate roleplay (possibly with one of them getting derailed correcting the other on historical inaccuracies), or something genderfucky with Odo roleplaying as a woman and/or Laura as a man

Lord Corvin/Luke Doomsday - I was so excited when Corvin popped up as a prior employer of Luke’s, and I want any and all fic about Luke working as Corvin’s secretary and hooking up with Corvin (plus or minus more of the Murder if you wanna add people to the ship!) I’d also love Corvin coming back into Luke’s life post-canon, and feel free to add Rufus to the ship in that case.

Rufus d'Aumesty/Luke Doomsday – I love these two so much will enjoy anything shippy and/or smutty about them. I love the roleplay aspects of their sex scenes in the book and would love to see them exploring further scenarios! (What if they fucked in the Mithraean temple to help Luke overcome his bad memories of almost dying...) I also love the care Luke takes with accommodating Rufus’s dyslexia, and would love to see more of them running the estate together with their complementary skillsets.

Berengaria d'Aumesty/Emily Doomsday – I would love to see how they got together! We see just enough of their relationship in the book to make me fall in love with them, but not nearly enough to satisfy me. I also would love to see more about Berengaria’s art and Emily modeling for her. Also, what does Emily think of Berry’s art? Is she also big into art, and they have conversations about theory and stuff, or does she just love her girlfriend’s stuff and not care so much about art in general? Emily discovering an interest and learning more about art theory/history/etc would be very fun. Also! Post-canon fic/art about the aftermath of canon! Berry has learned some very horrible things about her parents, and is also completely free from their influence for the first time! That’s a lot to deal with!

Joss Doomsday/Gareth Inglis - I love Gareth/Joss and am down for anything you want to write/draw about them! Pre-canon looks at their relationship and/or how they met, post-canon, fluff, fights they’ve had, smut...I am also very into the inner workings of estates and would love to see more of Gareth getting used to being a baronet and taking over from his father, and Joss continuing with his responsibilities as a Doomsday, and how those two might intersect. Also, what happens with them and their relationships with Luke in between books!

Darlene & Librarian (Darlene Series) – I want to see more of Darlene exploring her employment, education, etc options and the librarian helping her! I’m also very into moments where Darlene says something thinking it’s a Totally Normal Experience or common knowledge and then the librarian’s reaction showing her otherwise. Also! Darlene discovering her own skills and that there are things she can do that are uncommon and impressive!

Darlene & Divinity (Darlene Series) – We only see Darlene and Divinity interact on the day Darlene rescues Divinity from the forced marriage, and I really want to see how their relationship develops as they’re both out from their father’s control. Perhaps Darlene feels pressure to be a good big sister and have her shit together for Divinity. And Darlene has gone a lot farther in terms of deconstructing from her upbringing – I’d love to see conflicts arise from that, with Divinity still deeper into their religious beliefs. Also, we don’t see very much of the aftermath of Darlene coming out to Divinity, and I’d love to see more of that, however you want to have Divinity react!
