Trans Fic Ex 2025 Letter

Thank you for writing or drawing for me! I’ve requested fic and art for all of my fandoms. I am within_a_dream on AO3, and you can read my previous letters here if you want to see some of my previous exchange requests! I have requested both fic and art for all fandoms.

I'm going a little sparse on my tag requests because for most of my character noms, I don't really have specific plots I want to see, I would just love any and all fanworks where my chosen characters are trans! So do feel free to go wild. I don't have strong pronoun preferences for any of my requests, although if you're going for a neutral pronoun I do slightly prefer singular they.

DNWs

• Noncanonical pregnancy, any childbirth - any canonical pregnancies are fine, just don't put the actual childbirth on the page/in the art


• Oviposition


• AUs I DNW: Modern/mundane AUs, omegaverse/BDSM AU/other AUs involving biologically-assigned kink roles, soulmate AUs (soulbonds are fine!), no-homophobia AUs for settings that in canon have homophobia

Smut Likes

• Feel free to include any of your favorite kinks if you are writing or drawing me smut! My only squicks are in my DNWs – anything else goes.
  
• Any and all sex acts (vaginal, anal, oral, manual, frottage, intercrural, fisting, double penetration, sounding, etc) are great! I have no top/bottom or dom/sub preferences.


• My favorite words for genitals are cock and cunt, but I have no objections to whatever you’d like to use


• Pretty much anything under the BDSM umbrella. I am especially into unnegotiated or undernegotiated kink, and characters falling into kinky dynamics or things they enjoy (especially with the younger characters). I have no dom/sub preferences


• I would love noncon for any of my requested characters or fandoms – if you want to know more about what I like in dubcon or noncon I have a general list of kinks and tropes here in my Consent Issues letter. I generally prefer noncon with an OC or canonical antagonist as the rapist, and "fuck or die" setups between my requested characters are also great!


• Roleplay – I am into both serious roleplay and goofy scenarios that the characters can’t quite take seriously, and I am especially fond of rape roleplay/consensual non-consent


• Group sex, orgies, and gangbangs


• Gunplay, especially fucking someone with a gun


• Watersports – I am mostly into it for humiliation or marking aspects, and am neutral about drinking piss (and would prefer if any drinking happens it’s someone having their mouth pissed in directly rather than just drinking a glass of pee/etc)

The Diviners Series - Libba Bray

Characters

• 1: Genderfluid!Theta Knight (The Diviners), 1: Nonbinary!Theta Knight (The Diviners), 1: Transfem!Theta Knight (The Diviners), 1: Transmasc!Theta Knight (The Diviners) – so in retrospect I should have just nommed trans!Theta and told you to go wild, because I don't have a specific vision here, I just think Theta's story (forced to play a role from childhood, running off to NYC and adopting a new name, etc) would gel really well with a trans Theta. Theta & Henry queer friendship! Perhaps Theta discovering they're trans through interacting with the NYC queer scene. Whether you go for AFAB or AMAB Theta, them being trans adds another dimension to the threat of Roy returning and revealing their past. I would also love to see Theta/Memphis with a trans Theta – and if you go for a transmasc/etc Theta who isn't out to the rest of the Diviners, I'd love to see Theta getting up the nerve to come out to Memphis as trans, thinking he's only attracted to women, while at the same time Memphis is getting up the nerve to come out to Theta as bi (and if you want to work in either Memphis writing queer poems himself or some contemporary queer poetry, that would be delightful). (I'm totally still down for bi Memphis in a transfem Theta work too!)

Some Like it Hot - Shaiman/Wittman & Shaiman/López & Ruffin

Characters

• Trans!Daphne/Transmasc!Osgood Fielding III (Some Like It Hot) – so this musical was like, made in a lab for my specific musical theater interests, and I cannot get the idea of t4t Daphne/Fielding out of my head. A fun fact I discovered while figuring out what medical transition might look like – the musical takes place in 1933, estrogen was first synthesized in 1933, and testosterone was first synthesized in 1935. I'm not sure when estrogen started being used specifically for transition purposes, but Michael Dillon used testosterone for gender transition only a few years after it was synthesized, so with a little handwaving and Fielding's vast fortune, I think he could get his lovely spouse estrogen pretty soon after the musical ends, and testosterone for himself a few years later.


• Trans!Daphne/Transmasc!Osgood Fielding III/Joe/Sugar Kane (Some Like It Hot) – I'm also really into a post-canon foursome, especially with an added history of Daphne and Joe having been friends with benefits precanon if you feel so inclined, and Joe trying to figure out what his relationship with Daphne will be/might change now that she's out as trans and also married. (And I love Sugar and obvs we can't invite Joe to a polyamorous relationship and/or sex party and leave his girlfriend out!)

Black Sails

Characters

• 1: Transfem!Calico Jack Rackham (Black Sails) – look, I saw someone post about their trans woman Calico Jack headcanon and it makes so much sense to me but I know myself and I know I cannot write this headcanon myself without going down a massive research rabbit hole about pirates and gender, so I present it to you. I'd love to see a trans Jack's relationship with Anne and/or that tantalizing glimpse of Mary Read we see at the end of the series. I also zeroed in on the one mention we get in canon of Jack having trouble getting an erection (I love me some erectile dysfunction) and would love to see smut doing something with the intersection of erectile dysfunction and gender. Also! Perhaps a story about faking your death and leaving your legacy behind to go live a quiet life as a woman somewhere. (If you do something shippy, I'm not wild about Jack/Vane but am down for anyone else.)

Bridgerton (TV)

Characters

• Transmasc!Simon Basset/Daphne Bridgerton (Bridgerton) - I've been toying with this AU since watching the first season. I love the extra dimension it would add to Simon insisting he'll never marry, and what it might do to the Simon/Daphne plot. Perhaps the whole marriage thing happens without Simon and Daphne having a chance to talk about his gender, or he doesn't tell her, and she has no idea that he's any different from cis men due to her extreme naivete; or perhaps he tells her he's trans, but again due to her extreme naivete, she doesn't realize exactly what that means and he doesn't realize that she doesn't realize until she tearfully tells him she thinks she's infertile. I have some additional prompts for Stork Swap if you want to do a Simon-and-Daphne-get-a-baby plot.

Leverage

I'm also familiar with Redemption if you'd like to include that in your fanworks (and I'm down for trans Breanna and/or Harry too), but I'm also down for fanworks limited to the canon of the original series. (However, my character feels have been impacted by my recent Redemption watch, which is to blame for the lack of Nate in my prompts. Feel free to include him, I've got nothing against him!)

• 1: Genderfluid!Sophie Devereaux (Leverage), 1: Transfem!Sophie Deveraux (Leverage) – both of these are very appealing to me in terms of how they gel with Sophie's character. Love the idea of Sophie using grifter skills to change what gender people see them as, love how the plot point that no one knows Sophie's "real"/birth name works with a trans woman Sophie, love basically anything you want to do with trans Sophie.


• Genderqueer!Alec Hardison/Nonbinary!Parker (Leverage), Nonbinary!Parker & Alec Hardison & Eliot Spencer (Leverage) – I love the idea of nonbinary Parker and how it might intersect with her attitudes towards social interaction and not understanding how "normal" people interact – would love to see a Parker who takes a while to put a name to their gender because they kind of just assumed no one actually had a strong binary gender identity. I would also love to see Parker and Hardison having very different conceptualizations of their genders, and talking about it (and maybe Hardison telling Parker about being genderqueer is what makes Parker realize they're nonbinary).


• Transmasc!Alec Hardison/Transfem!Parker/Transmasc!Eliot Spencer (Leverage) – I just think it's fun if the whole Leverage team is trans! Possibly with a look at how this might impact their backstories or just a fanwork where they're all trans
