Thank you for writing or drawing for me! I'm within_a_dream on AO3, and I have a tag of previous letters if you want to see more of my requests/get a better idea of what I like.

I've requested fic and art for all canons. I've tried to give fic-suitable prompts and art-suitable prompts, but I am not an artist so art prompts are a little harder for me. If the fic prompts grab you as an artist (or the art prompts grab you as a fic-writer), go wild! I did try to request more visual tags for each fandom as well as the plottier ones, but in general, if you draw me my faves/requested characters injured in some way, I will love it.

I love gen, and I love any and all relationship configurations (although I'm especially partial to all members of an ensemble cast being involved in a tangled polyamorous web). I don’t have any NOTPs in my requested fandoms, so if you have a favorite ship, feel free to include it in your gift! I am totally here for graphic violence or graphic sex/noncon, as well, in both fic and art.

I picked the freeform tags I thought went best with each fandom, but anything I requested in one fandom, I would be happy to read or see in another. So if a prompt from one fandom intrigues you, feel free to repurpose it for a different fandom!

For the various "recovery" tags I've requested, I don't necessarily need the character to reach a full physical or mental recovery in the gift. I'm just interested in the aftermath of an injury or trauma.

DNWs

• Pregnancy/mpreg/childbirth - You’re fine to mention pregnancy or the risk of pregnancy, but I’d rather not have fics going into detail about the appearance of pregnant people or pregnancy symptoms/side effects (eg morning sickness, cravings), and in art, I don’t want to see pregnant characters


• Oviposition, parasites, etc - anything involving a creature growing inside a character

• Hurt/comfort - and you can go as light or as heavy on the comfort as you’d like

• Period-typical homophobia in historical canons. (Although if this isn’t your preferred flavor of angst and you’d rather write a homophobia-free world and focus on other dark tropes, that is totally fine by me!)


• Ghosts - Malevolent ghosts, neutral but spooky ghosts, skeptics interacting with ghosts and being forced to admit that something paranormal is going on. I am especially partial to the “agreed to spend the night in a haunted house for a reward and gets more than they bargained for” trope.


• Truth Serum, Spells, etc - especially a character being forced by the serum to confess their love for another characters


• Confessions + Secrets Revealed - Give me a character telling another character about their traumatic past, or coming out, or anything else, and I will love it


• Came Back Wrong - I am into both a straightforward take on the trope or a take where the resurrected party knows there's something wrong with them and that they aren't who they used to be. Artwise, I'd love to see resurrected characters who look wrong in some way, from subtly off all the way to decomposing zombie


• Recovery - from an illness, physical trauma, psychological trauma, addiction…It doesn't need to be a "back to normal" recovery either, I'm totally down for characters finding a new normal after a serious injury/trauma/etc

A note: all of my specifically-pornographic requests for this exchange are noncon, but you are 100% welcome to add consensual smut to a work as well. As far as consensual porn goes, any sex acts and kinks are good except what’s in my DNWs! I have very few turn-offs ;)

Give me pining and Jack’s slow realization that he’s in love a la canon, give me Jack confessing his feelings (and then maybe Gus dying anyway), give me Gus surviving and the two of them finding solace in their shared experiences, give me Jack encountering Jack’s ghost. Anything you want to write or draw for this fandom, I will love.

• Enjolras - Enjolras is so stoic and determined in canon, I just want to see what finally breaks him. An only-Enjolras-lives or only-some-Amis-live AU is always fun, as is the classic "tortured and/or raped by the National Guard" whump fic.


• Marius Pontmercy - I want alllll the barricades-aftermath for Marius, grieving his friends and dealing with trauma. Any other Marius-centric whump, h/c, etc is always welcome too, he is my darling and I want to see so many bad things happen to him.

• Captivity, Imprisonment - Enjolras or Marius are arrested for their political activities, or captured by Patron-Minette or another nefarious group for Reasons. Perhaps torture or rape ensues


• Gang Rape - The perpetrators are your choice (although please don't make it the Amis unless they're forced to against their will by an antagonist). • Gunshot Wounds - Give me all the canon-era medical treatment, and healing, and scarring, and maybe infections! Or the moment the gunshot wound is received

• PTSD - Marius is the obvious choice for this. I'd love to see him post-barricades dealing with PTSD, and maybe how this affects his relationship with Cosette (does he try to hide it? I could see him being frustrated or ashamed that his own mind is keeping him from his revolutionary goals

The only thing I ask is that you not kill anyone onscreen (you're fine to show things that could be deadly in art; in fic I'd like the character to survive the vivisection)

• Sentient Evil Spaceships - Some of my favorite moments on the show were the creeping unexplained horror of the earlier seasons (the Hollow Men episode, the moment they find the recording of Lovelace's crew), and I love the idea of the Hephaestus holding not-so-happy memories of her earlier crews and taking action against the current crew (or maybe having failsafes programmed in by Cutter and Pryce to keep the crews from being able to turn against their employer)

The Alienist

I really want more whump and/or noncon and/or hurt/comfort fanworks for this fandom, and I'm not picky about which character you want to hurt. I love all 5 individual characters I've requested, and in addition to my requested John/Laszlo, I ship pretty much every combination of my requested characters (I've read some great John/Laszlo/Sara and Laszlo/Marcus, and I'd like to see Sara/OFC, but I am truly down for any ship if you want to get shippy)

You can pick and choose whichever antagonist you like—Connor or another police officer, Kelly or another criminal, the killer they hunt in the first season, another OC killer…Anything goes as long as you don't have one of my requested characters willingly torturing or raping another.

I want so much whump and h/c for this fandom. So many opportunities for the characters to be injured on the job! So many opportunities for improvised medical care in the field! For my injury-related prompts, I'm especially into the danger an injury can put the characters in when they're in the past, even if that injury would be simple to treat if they were back in the present day. (Wyatt getting shot in the Lincoln assassination episode was A+, and I would like 10x more of that.)

• Mental Health Issues - I'd love anything about the canonical mental health issues: Chandler's OCD, Kent's anger issues, Mansell's phone calls and suicide attempt…I know the latter two were set up as potentially being caused by supernatural forces, but I would absolutely love a gift where the characters take down Iver and assume that will solve their mental problems, only to find that it doesn't fix everything. I also love fic/art about a character (Chandler seems the obvious choice) starting meds, and medication side effects hurt/comfort
