Thank you for writing or drawing for me! I’ve requested fic and art for all of my fandoms. I am within_a_dream on AO3, and you can read my previous letters here if you want to see some of my previous exchange requests! I have requested both fic and art for all fandoms.

• I would love noncon for any of my requested characters or fandoms – if you want to know more about what I like in dubcon or noncon I have a general list of kinks and tropes here in my Consent Issues letter. I generally prefer noncon with an OC or canonical antagonist as the rapist, and "fuck or die" setups between my requested characters are also great!


• Roleplay – I am into both serious roleplay and goofy scenarios that the characters can’t quite take seriously, and I am especially fond of rape roleplay/consensual non-consent

Band Sinister

• Lord Corvin/Guy Frisby/John Raven/Philip Rookwood - I’m especially into Philip/John/Corvin introducing Guy to all sorts of exciting aspects of London society now that Guy isn’t trapped in Yarlcote. I would also love to see some Guy/etc & Amanda interaction. Pornwise I would love to see more of the others introducing Guy to exciting new sex acts/etc, or lending him erotic literature.I would love to see their first few weeks/months/whatever post-book learning how they fit together. I’m totally down for fluff, but also for a bit of angst with Guy feeling insecure about his place in such a long-running relationship, Corvin and/or John feeling insecure about Philip being enthralled enough with his new beau that he leaves them behind, Philip worrying about balancing his relationships with the other three, etc. Porn-wise I would so love to see their first time having sex all together, especially if it’s Guy who initiates the foursome.


• Amanda Frisby/David Martelo- I want to see more of their married life! Amanda bouncing plot troubles off of David and borrowing him to work out if an action she wants to describe is physically plausible, David coming home from an exhausting day at work and Amanda comforting him, Amanda getting used to the freedom of being away from Yarlcote for the first time since her season. And I am very interested in Amanda’s conversion to Judaism, and would love to see more about that, or just about her and David celebrating holidays together or something similar.



• Amanda Frisby/David Martelo/Lord Corvin – There's an original works ship that's been nominated for several multifandom exchanges, Crown Princess Who Was A Starving Writer In Her Former Life/Faraway King Who's A Fan Of Her Books, and I keep thinking about Princess/Faraway King/Princess’s or King’s Advisor as an AU for Amanda/Corvin/David respectively. I also want to see more Amanda & Corvin (and Amanda & Murder) interactions in a canon setting, and David being a little exasperated and a lot endeared by the antics Amanda and Corvin get up to is a great dynamic. I would also love smut with Amanda enthusiastically enlisting Corvin to help David explain to her and demonstrate all of these sex acts she’s heard vague whispers about.


• Amanda Frisby & Theodore Swann – I just love the idea of Amanda making a writer friend! Her and Theo's circles overlap now that she's involved with the Murder, and I would love to see them interacting either in person or via letters to talk about their respective books

Charm of Magpies

I enjoy Lucien/Stephen greatly, and feel free to include it in works (especially in the Stephen whump), but I'm requesting my rarer ships here since there is comparatively more Lucien/Stephen out there for me to enjoy already lol.

• Frank Merrick/Lucien Vaudrey* – Listen, I just think they should hook up at some point when they're in Shanghai together. Mutual pining is great, hurt/comfort (with either one being the hurt party) that leads to romance and/or sex is great, the two of them being friends with benefits in between Lucien's ill-advised relationships and Merrick's less-ill-advised relationships is great! No dom/sub preference or top/bottom preference here, but I do think it would be a fun ship dynamic if Merrick is the only person Lucien wants to sub and/or bottom for.


• Stephen Day/Frank Merrick/Lucien Vaudrey* – In my latest reread of the series, I kept thinking about a version of the first book where Lucien and Merrick are already together, and how the Lucien/Stephen relationship progression would change. I tend to see it as a V with Crane at the center, although I'd greatly enjoy seeing Stephen and Merrick interact more in a platonic (or not so platonic if you wanna go full triad) way. I'd prefer a work where we can see the ship eventually get to a comfortable place with each other, but starting out with jealousy on Stephen and/or Merrick's part and getting into some angst before that resolution is very welcome! (Basically the only thing I don't want is a fic that's entirely angst about how Stephen or Merrick wishes they were the only person Crane is dating – presumably this wouldn't come up in art)


• Stephen Day/Some Bad Guy* – Stephen dating or fucking assholes before meeting Crane, yes please! I'll have more in the noncon section if you want a more nonconsensual bad guy encounter, but Stephen fucking someone who looks down on him and treats him badly because he feels like it's the best he can get or what he deserves for wanting to submit is very good. Bonus points if he meets the guy again later after he's gotten together with Lucien.

The Gentle Art of Fortune-Hunting

• Alice Fenwick/Marianne Loxleigh – I'm so excited someone nommed these two, I shipped them so hard throughout the book and I want them to fall in love!!! As a math nerd, I love that Alice is also a math nerd and I would love to see something featuring her mathematical studies and possibly talking about math to Marianne. A more worldly Marianne introducing Alice to romance and sex is a great dynamic. Also, traveling the Continent together would be great fun!


• John Hartlebury/Robin Loxleigh – I loved these two and I would love to see more of how their relationship progresses post-canon. Hart being aghast at Robin's proposed roleplay was hilarious to me, and I would love to see the two of them find their way into some kinks they can both enjoy (maybe Hart gets more into roleplay, or maybe they find something else!) I would also love to see them spending more time together post-canon now that things are less emotionally fraught between them!

The Secret Casebook of Simon Feximal

• Robert Caldwell/Simon Feximal – Honestly I just want to see them taking on more paranormal challenges together! I am happy with a snippet of a ghost or monster if you don't want to write/draw out a full case. I would also love to see more of their interactions with Sam and Jo, since in canon we basically only get their first meeting and then Sam as an adult in Spectred Isle. Porn without plot is also very welcome, and it would be very fun if the connection between Robert and Simon to siphon off Simon's pain also allows them to share each other's pleasure.

Lilywhite Boys

• Jerry Crozier/Alexander "Alec" Pyne-ffoulkes* - I just love these two and I want to see their post-canon lives! I do enjoy AUs where the Lilywhite Boys stay in the jewel theft business post-canon, and I would also love to see something more canon-compliant exploring what Jerry does with himself after retiring from thievery. Their canonical sex and kinks are smoking hot, and I am always down for more smut about them. (Also, Jerry dressing Alec up in jewels would be great!) Whump or hurt/comfort with one or both of them falling into the hands of a dangerous person who has a grudge against the Lilywhite Boys would also be great!


• Jerry Crozier & James Vane, Jerry Crozier & Stan Kamarzyn & James Vane* – I would so love to see these two/three carrying out some pre-canon heists! Dramatic rescues and Jerry and/or James menacing anyone who threatens any of the Lilywhite Boys as we saw in The Rat-Catcher's daughter would also be great. And post-canon explorations of how their relationships change once they're not stealing anymore would also be fun!


• Jerry Crozier/James Vane* – Listen, every time a book tells me two characters are definitely not interested in each other, I end up shipping them more. I'm especially interested in these two having a friends-with-benefits dynamic, where they're not In Love with each other but enjoy hooking up. James dressing Jerry up in opals would be delightful. The only thing I really don't want is for James' anger at Jerry in Gilded Cage to be due to sexual or romantic jealousy. And if you want to do a threesome or foursome with the canonical love interests, I am down!


• Susan Lazarus/Cara Pyne-ffoulkes – We get only tantalizing hints about this relationship, and I so want pre-canon works showing Susan and Cara together. Show me their first meeting, or Cara helping Susan with a case, or the two of them spending a quiet night in together, or some shameless smut. Also – I didn't nom/request Susan/Cara/James because I felt like it would be weird when I only have one prompt for the ship, but if you're into it I have an oddball AU plot for you. There's a play called Blithe Spirit wherein a man hosts a séance for a joke and accidentally summons the ghost of his first wife, which makes things weird with his second wife. Imagine Cara's ghost accidentally getting summoned when Susan is like, investigating a fraudulent medium or something, and this results in a Cara/Susan/James poly v or triad?


• Susan Lazarus/James Vane* – I want to see more of these two working together, really. James getting involved with Susan's investigations, or an AU where Susan grudgingly agrees that some people really do deserve to be robbed for the greater good and they stage the occasional heist to help a client of Susan's who the law can't help. I also would love some smut – very into Susan domming James, perhaps with some gunplay thrown in. Also, Susan wearing jewelry during sex because James likes it is great!

Sins of the Cities

• Justin Lazarus/Nathaniel Roy – First off, I'd love to see the two of them raising Sukey and Emma. We see the two as children in Sins of the Cities, and again as adults with some discussion of the in between in Lilywhite Boys, and I would love to see the space in between! I also always want more smut, and perhaps some séance roleplay (listen, Nathaniel was very into Justin playing medium, and so was I.) I also eternally crave Justin coming face to face with a real life ghost. And I would love to see some of Justin's work as an enquiry agent!


• Mark Braglewicz/Pen Starling – They barely had any time together in canon that wasn’t wrapped up with inheritance and murder, so I would love to see what they look like when they’ve had time to settle into a normal relationship. Works with them visiting Greta and Tim (and eventually their kids) would be great. I would also love some smut with them, and I’m especially into seeing how Pen’s genderfluidity interacts with their sex life (maybe Mark using more feminine dirty talk when Pen is having a femme day, etc?). I would in general love to see more of these two post-canon! Maybe Pen helping Mark with a case, or seeing how Pen builds up his theater.


• Rowley Green/Clem Talleyfer - I love how utterly besotted these two are with each other, and their understanding of each other. I also love how easily Clem fell into teasing and edging Rowley in bed. With all that Clem talked about teasing Rowley and making him wait to come for hours, I would love to see that actually happening in a fanwork. And I want to see more Clem and Rowley collaborating on taxidermy!


• Justin Lazarus/Any Seance Client* – As soon as Unnatural Vice mentioned Justin "playing the good boy" for clients I wanted some angst about Justin deciding to or having to sleep with clients. You can go more consensual-but-not-fun or dubcon with it, or go full noncon with it.

Society of Gentlemen

• David Cyprian & Silas Mason* - I loved what we saw of their friendship in the series and I want so much more! Playing board games together and talking, Silas’s staunch convictions vs Cyprian’s careful apoliticalness. Perhaps one of them helping the other out of a sticky situation, discussing books that Silas lent to David, or playing backgammon together


• David Cyprian/Dominic Frey/Silas Mason/Richard Vane – Listen. What if the reason Richard was such a dick about Dom wanting to sub is because Richard is also a (deeply repressed) sub? What if Cyprian organizes a foursome where he and Silas dom Richard and Dom? I just think Richard should get little a D/s, as a treat, and have a kink awakening.


• Gabriel Ashleigh/Francis Webster* - I love these two, and am very sad we only got a novella that was exclusively about them. I love Ash’s golden-retriever-like personality and how it interacts with Francis’s more reserved demeanor, and I want to see all the fanworks about them! I know it’s been done in a few fics already, but I would especially love to see their reaction to Maltravers getting his hands on Ash’s letters


• Dominic Frey/Silas Mason* - I am always here for more smut about them. Would love to see them trying out new kinks together. I’m also very into political debate between them, or exchanging and discussing books. Or maybe the two of them getting to travel to the Continent together and spend some time on a vacation where no one knows their respective social classes and they don't have to keep up a pretense.


• Silas Mason/Julius Norreys/Harry Vane – This ship had never occurred to me before I saw it in the tagset, but color me intrigued! I'm picturing Harry having a crush on Silas that he figures is doomed to go nowhere, but with Julius's encouragement, he gets to live his dreams lol. Silas domming Harry would be delightful (especially if he gets to enjoy a more gentle dom/sub dynamic than he has with Dom), and I would love to see Julius and Silas double penetrating or spitroasting Harry.


• Will Quex/Jonathan Shakespeare - They are my absolute fave side characters and I want to know so much more about them! How did they meet? How did they start Quex’s? What’s their POVs on the events of the series? Also, if you want to write or draw them having a threesome with literally any other character (in KJ Charles's books or from a different canon), please feel free!!

Think of England

• Archie Curtis/Daniel da Silva* - I love everything about their dynamic in the book: their differing skillsets, Daniel’s experience/Archie’s inexperience with sex, and the potential for a future doing espionage together. I would love something set post-canon with them working together if you are inclined to write/draw some spying. I would also love a look into the quieter moments of their post-book life, maybe Archie reading Daniel’s poetry or Daniel introducing Archie to his friends/the queer scene. Also if you are down for porn, I know there are one or two takes on Archie’s first time bottoming out there but I always want more of that.


• Archie Curtis/Daniel da Silva & Fenella Carruth/Patricia Merton – I just want to see more of them interacting! Fen and Pat helping out with Archie and Daniel's work is always fun. There's already a great fic out there that involves Pat teaching Daniel to shoot, but I'm always down for more of that.


• Fenella Carruth/Patricia Merton - I am very into the idea of Fen and Pat running a bit of an investigative agency, and would love to see some casefic/art to that effect. I also loved Pat teaching Fen to shoot and would love to see more of them shooting together, and/or some gunkink porn. (I've already been gifted some lovely gunplay for these two, but there will never be enough Pat/Fen gunplay out there!) And I would love to see their perspectives on the events of Think of England! Also, their relationship allows for so many lovely moments of quiet intimacy and I would love to see them dressing/undressing each other, doing each other’s hair, etc.

Wanted: A Gentleman

• Martin St. Vincent/Theodore Swann – I don't have a ton of prompts for these two because I've never requested them before, but I love them and wish there were more fanworks about them! I would love to see Theo making Martin help him with his writing, either by hashing out the plot with him or commandeering him to act out a scene that Theo is having trouble visualizing. I also love their connection to the Murder and would love to see more interactions there!

Will Darling Adventures

• Maisie Jones/Phoebe Stephens-Prince - I am so in love with these two, and I dearly hope we get a spin-off nove somedayl. And plenty of fanworks! I am very into Maisie assuming Phoebe is straight and that her pining will be forever unrequited, only to have Phoebe casually mention an ex-girlfriend (perhaps during her campaign to make sure Maisie is all right with queer people during book 2). Phoebe and Maisie bonding over clothes design is also delightful. Maisie designing dresses for Phoebe, or perhaps lingerie for Phoebe, and perhaps getting jealous of the men who will see Phoebe in them/take them off of Phoebe. Maisie and Phoebe dealing with the aftermath of various series events would also be very great! Phoebe is going to have a very bad time, and Maisie didn’t get off super easily either; they’re going to have a lot to deal with.


• Will Darling/Kim Secretan* - I love these two so much!! Would love to see any and all espionage activity you can imagine them doing together, as well as some downtime (perhaps working at Will's shop, or of course having sex). I am always a fan of fuck or die or a honeytrap mission (with either Kim or Will as the honeytrap) with an OC. Maybe the two of them visiting Maisie and Phoebe in Paris?I'd also love to see them visiting a gay club together. Also! Either of them in a dress (perhaps designed by Maisie?)


• Will Darling/Edward Molyneux/Kim Secretan, Will Darling/Kim Secretan/OMC – Will just being completely oblivious to Molyneux flirting with him was hilarious, and I'd love a relationship vibe building off of that, with either Molyneux or an OC proposing a threesome in an oblique way and Kim having to explain to Will that they've just been invited to a threesome. Kim getting double penetrated or spitroasted would be very fun, or Will fucking one character while being fucked by the other. General adventures in queer clubs/etc would also be very fun!

Crossovers

• Alexander "Alec" Pyne-ffoulkes & the extended Lazarus-Starling found family – I don't even have prompts here, I just want to read whatever you want to write or see whatever you want to draw about Alec meeting the whole Lazarus-Starling gang through Susan. If you want to do some grief-fic/art, something set right after Cara's death would be delightfully angsty.


• Dominic Frey/Silas Mason/John Raven/Lord Corvin, Dominic Frey/Silas Mason/John Raven/Lord Corvin/Guy Frisby/Philip Rookwood – Please have Dom and Silas hook up with the Murder! This would be a delightful ship and I just want Silas to recruit his leftist friends to help him dom his boyfriend. Perhaps a week away at Rookwood Hall, with lots of sex and lots of political debates and Dom and Silas enjoying not having to hide their relationship.


• Fenella Carruth/Patricia Merton & Maisie Jones/Phoebe Stephens-Prince – I just want these gals to meet! It would be very fun if they ended up having to solve a mystery or investigate something together after being brought together by Will/Kim and Daniel/Archie, or I would love Pat teaching Maisie and Phoebe to shoot. And/or perhaps Fen just must have a dress from this glamorous new designer, and they meet that way.

Noncon Prompts/Requests

In general, if you want to write noncon for any of the characters I requested, please feel free to do a gift where one character gets raped and their ship partner/s cleans them up and/or comforts them afterwards, I am literally always down for more noncon in any of these fandoms.

Charm of Magpies

• For Lucien in general, I am very down for any of the dangerous men he's hooked up with having raped him in the past, and maybe that trauma coming back during sex or just in general in the present day. I am also very into Hector having sexually abused or raped Lucien when they were young, and/or Hector's ghost being very sexually menacing (ghost noncon??) And please feel free to give Merrick a past rape in his backstory, I have fewer specific ideas for him but I am very down for Merrick-focused noncon as well!


• Stephen Day/Some Bad Guy – Feel free to make it multiple bad guys if you would like! I'm very into powerful characters being raped and feeling guilty/like they deserve it for not stopping it, possibly with a side of internalized homophobia. Does the bad guy catch Stephen after he's stripped himself (or is it a warlock that he's fighting)? Does Stephen get ambushed by a non-magical man or men and can't fight back magically for risk of drawing the Council's attention to him? Did it start as a consensual encounter that turned to rape and so Stephen can't use magic because a) against the magic rules and b) would reveal that he's gay? (Do he and Lucien cross paths with his rapist later on, leaving Stephen to have to explain to Lucien why he had a bad reaction to this random guy?)

Lilywhite Boys

I don't have specific ship prompts here, rather some general noncon ideas you can take and run with for any of my requested ships!

• I am very into James having been raped during his time in Australia, and this accidentally coming up during his relationship with Susan (whether his PTSD is triggered in front of her or he mentions something offhand and then is like 'shit I meant to keep that deeply repressed forever' or anything)


• This is more dubcon, but anyone having to sleep with someone for the sake of a job!


• There are so many opportunities for the Lilywhite Boys' work to bring them into the paths of some very bad men, and I would be very into an antagonist threatening to rape Alec/Susan/Christiana and Jerry/James/Stan offering himself up as a substitute (and then the love interest having to watch the rape and a bad time is had by all...)

Sins of the Cities

• Justin Lazarus/Any Seance Client – Listen I just want some Justin noncon, and the book provides the perfect set up for it. Perhaps a client forcing themselves on Justin, and Justin not being able to say no or he'll lose a significant amount of income. Justin trying to pull himself together afterwards so he doesn't look upset in front of the kids. Justin running into someone who raped him post-canon, and perhaps Nathaniel noticing how much Justin hates this person and asking why.

Society of Gentlemen

• David Cyprian & Silas Mason – I have a bunch of prompts/tropes for David noncon in this letter, and I am so into David being raped and then either intentionally turning to Silas for comfort (maybe it feels safer than telling Richard, since Richard might want to punish the rapist and definitely has the social cachet to do so, and David isn't sure if he wants that), or Silas noticing that something's happened to David and deducing what's happened. (Maybe Silas himself was raped in the past, and he recognizes David's reaction.)


• Gabriel Ashleigh/Francis Webster – This is a super out-there noncon prompt, but what if after Maltravers discovers Ash's letter to Francis, he decides to seek revenge by raping Francis in front of Ash or vice versa, or making them fuck each other in front of him? Maltravers' erectile dysfunction issues make him an especially intriguing rapist, as I could see him getting angry when he can't get it up for the rape and maybe turning to forcing Ash and Francis to fuck or some brutal object insertion instead.


• Dominic Frey/Silas Mason – I also have a bunch of prompts/tropes for Dom noncon in this letter. His backstory of seeking out some very bad-idea sex gives the perfect opportunity for someone to rape him and Dom to blame himself for it (after all, isn't that what he was looking for? Someone to take advantage of him and be rough with him?) Him meeting the rapist again once he's with Silas and Silas noticing Dom's reaction is also very fun. (And perhaps Silas, Dom, and maybe David put a revenge plot into action once Silas has finished convincing Dom that it's not his fault he was raped.)

Think of England

• Archie Curtis/Daniel da Silva – okay so the spy setup leaves so many opportunities for noncon! I am always down for honeypot missions. Maybe it's meant to be a seduction that doesn't go all the way to sex, but the target is pushy and Daniel or Archie has to fuck him anyway, or maybe the sex is planned for but the target gets much rougher than expected. (I would love for someone they're investigating to be much more interested in Archie than Daniel, and Archie is determined to make it work but it ends up being a very bad time.) Bad guys nonconning either or both of them as torture or just because is great too! And I'm very into Daniel being raped after he's captured in Think of England, and Archie comforting him afterwards. I've got more prompts and tropes in this letter.

Will Darling Adventures

• Will Darling/Kim Secretan – First off, Kim having rape in his backstory and then he and Will running across his rapist would be great, especially if Kim is trying to hide exactly why he's upset from Will and Will ends up finding out anyway. Honeypot missions are always great, and while Kim being the honeypot is incredibly welcome and enjoyable, I'd also love to see Will having to take on the role, and Kim being very upset that he let Will do this when the mission goes sideways and the target ends up raping Will (or you could go in a more dubcon or consensual-but-not-a-good-time direction). And either of them being captured and raped by a villain is also great!
