Rare Male Slash Exchange 2020

Thank you for writing/drawing for me! I’m within_a_dream on AO3. I've requested art and fic for all fandoms/ships, and I've tried to leave art-suitable prompts for all of them as well--but I'm not an artist, so feel free to contact me through the mods if you want more details.

All of the prompts are just suggestions! I'll be happy with any gift focusing on any of my requested ships. Feel free to combine multiple requested ships in the same gift, including combining multiple overlapping ships into poly ships. And feel free to put in any background ships you like; I've got no NOTPs in my requested fandoms.

As far as rating and subject matter go, I’m good with anything from the fluffiest hand-holding to the most dirtybadwrong noncon, and anything in between. Any level of violence or gore is also okay. I love fluff, I love angst, I love porn, and I will most likely love whatever you create for me! For the ships where one of the members dies in canon, I'm good with everyone-lives AUs, sad character death-centric gifts, gifts set before the death, or anything else you can think of.

In addition, I'm totally down for gifts portraying any of my requested characters as trans dudes, but if you do smut involving trans characters, I prefer no PIV sex.

Band Sinister

• Lord Corvin/Guy Frisby/John Raven/Philip Rookwood - I would love to see their first few weeks/months/whatever post-book learning how they fit together. I’m totally down for fluff, but also for a bit of angst with Guy feeling insecure about his place in such a long-running relationship, Corvin and/or John feeling insecure about Philip being enthralled enough with his new beau that he leaves them behind, Philip worrying about balancing his relationships with the other three, etc. Porn-wise I would so love to see their first time having sex all together, especially if it’s Guy who initiates the foursome. I’d also love Guy being introduced to new sex acts or erotic literature. Guy being introduced to o all sorts of exciting aspects of London society now that Guy isn’t trapped in Yarlcote would be great fun. I would also love to see any and all members of the ship interacting with Amanda.

England Series – K.J. Charles

• Archie Curtis/Daniel da Silva - I love everything about their dynamic in the book: their differing skillsets, Daniel’s experience/Archie’s inexperience with sex, and the potential for a future doing espionage together. I would love something set post-canon with them working together if you are inclined to write/draw some spying. I would also love a look into the quieter moments of their post-book life, maybe Archie reading Daniel’s poetry or Daniel introducing Archie to his friends/the queer scene, or his family (or a take on Archie introducing Daniel to his uncle!). Also if you are down for porn, I know there are one or two takes on Archie’s first time bottoming out there but I always want more of that. For a darker fic, I would love some forced-into-a-honeypot mission, forced-to-fuck while undercover, or just plain noncon with an OC that ends with the uninvolved character comforting the victim.

Green Men – K.J. Charles

• Hugh Barnaby/Max Isaacs - I was so intrigued by these two in the book, and I want so many more fanworks about them! I love their tragic noncon-experimentation past, and their friendship, and would love a gift set any time from the war to the book’s events and beyond. I would love to see them ending up seeking solace in each other during the war. I’d also love to see a post-war fanwork with them comforting each other through the bad episodes that the book alludes to, or fic/art of them investigating supernatural occurrences and/or fighting bad guys. Pornwise, I would especially love to see something sexy involving their powers, especially as a reclamation of this thng that was forced on them.

Les Misérables - Victor Hugo

Ships

• Grantaire/Marius Pontmercy - The first live production of Les Mis I saw had Grantaire sit on Marius's lap and kiss him during Red and Black, and I've been in love ever since. I love the idea of Grantaire flustering, corrupting, and/or deflowering Marius, and Grantaire's snark and Marius's earnestness interacting. Grantaire and Marius getting drunk! Grantaire and Marius going to parties! Grantaire seducing Marius and being both dismayed and excited to find out he's a virgin! I would also love to see Grantaire and Gillenormand meeting somehow – Gillenormand’s reaction to his grandson’s new friend would be delightful.


• Courfeyrac/Marius Pontmercy - I realize there are already a billion takes on the "I have come to sleep with you" line and them being roommates, but I never get sick of it. My favorite thing about this pairing is Courfeyrac introducing innocent and anxious Marius to the world. I would also really love something focusing on their respective political views, maybe a conversation set after Marius’s disastrous introduction to Les Amis. I also love Marius (whose upbringing ranges from cold to downright abusive depending on how you interpret the text/which adaptation you’re going off of) learning to have friends and/or be loved.

Queen’s Thief series – Megan Whalen Turner

• Eugenides/Costis Ormentiedes - I love me some loyalty kink and royalty/commoner relationships! I'm especially into fanworks that play with their canonical roles/power dynamics, in a porny way or not (and listen, if you want to make me porn, Costis is such a sub). I'd also love to see Gen training Costis for espionage/his trip to the Mede Empire. I'd also love to see how Costis reacts to ending up as the king's lover, and if any rumors spring up/what Gen does to deter rumors.


• Eugenides/Sophos - I'm interested in these two anywhere from during the events of The Thief to Conspiracy of Kings and beyond. Thief-set gifts would be fun in terms of identity porn, with neither of them knowing who the other really is. It would also be really interesting to see how both would balance a personal relationship with their royal duties (we already see this with their friendship in canon, but I'd love to see how romance would play into it). I'd love to see them stealing a kiss or a moment together while having to hide from those who might see.


• Kamet/Costis Ormentiedes - The culture clash between these two, Kamet adapting to life as a freedman, the sharing of myths and legends, Costis's mediocre Medean...there's nothing I don't love about these two and I desperately want more shippy content for them in my life. I'd love to see Kamet telling Costis more legends, how a romantic relationship would develop in parallel to the events in TaT, or what the two of them get up to post-Thick As Thieves (do they end up staying where they're sent, or do they get dragged back into politics?) And a porn prompt I've had stuck in my head since I read the book--Costis really wants to blow Kamet or have Kamet fuck him, and Kamet is absolutely scandalized, as that is not something a man like Costis should do with a slave. Art-wise, I'd love to see both of them reading together, or Costis interrupting Kamet's reading.

Society of Gentlemen – K.J. Charles

• Dominic Frey/Silas Mason - I love all of their canonical kinks and sex scenes, and any smut along those lines would make me very happy. I would also be very into Silas organizing a gangbang for Dom (feel free to cross over with other K.J. Charles books, with or without changing timelines to make them fit together, or bring in OCs). I’d also love to see them reading and discussing more books together, or talking about political events during or post-canon. If you’d like to write some Dom angst or hurt/comfort, I will direct you to my Nonconathon letter.


• Gabriel Ashleigh/Francis Webster - I love these two, and am very sad we only got a novella that was exclusively about them. I love Ash’s golden-retriever-like personality and how it interacts with Francis’s more reserved demeanor, and I want to see all the fanworks about them! I know it’s been done in a few fics already, but I would especially love to see their reaction to Maltravers getting his hands on Ash’s letters. I’d also love to see them traveling together/touring the Continent post-canon!


• Julius Norreys/Harry Vane - Anything about them is lovely, really. I would love to see more about their trip to the Continent, or more struggles Harry might have reconciling his past with his current identity as nobility. I also read a great fic where they have a threesome and it left me wanting allllll the fanworks about them having threeways – with an OC or another character or whoever you’d like. The two of them exploring kinks together would also be delightful. Also, Harry committing Crimes Against Fashion and Julius’s subsequent exasperation.

Lilywhite Boys – K.J. Charles

• Jerry Crozier/Alexander "Alec" Pyne-ffoulkes - I love everything about their dynamic and their sex scenes in canon and I want so much more! I love the roleplay as "Lord Alexander" and would like to see that continued, or possibly more identities adding on. I would also like to see what both of them get up to post-canon, but especially Jerry now that he’s living a life of leisure after retiring from jewel theft. Alec sketching Jerry is always fun, as is Jerry dressing Alec up in jewelry and/or fancy clothes. I’d also love to see them pulling a heist together, for whatever reason you can come up with.


• Jerry Crozier/Templeton Lane - I always end up falling for the ships that are explicitly contradicted in Charles’ books! I can most easily see these two in a purely sexual friends-with-benefits relationship, perhaps started by a fling after a particularly thrilling heist. But I’m not opposed to a more romantic relationship! Hurt/comfort after one or both of them get injured would also be super fun. I would also love to see their first meeting! Awkward kisses/sex/relationship dynamics in general would also be really fun. I’m not sure how well Jerry’s kinks would mesh with Templeton.

Stanton and Barling – E. M. Powell

• Aelred Barling/Hugo Stanton - I am so in love with these two and I want all the fic/art about them! More of them investigating murders together is very welcome, especially incorporating some details about how different the idea of justice in their time was from what we would consider justice. I’m really into either or both of them being anxious about the relationship, shown either through pining pre-relationship or doubts during the relationship. Barling only has one pretty horrible relationship, and that plus his internalized homophobia is an obvious recipe for angst. On the other side, I could see Stanton having plenty of experience with women but none with men, and being nervous about messing things up. I would also love hurt/comfort, especially with one of them injured on a case (I’d especially love to see Barling being uncharacteristically soft with an injured Stanton, or Stanton forcing an injured Barling to rest).

Outlander

I am in the middle of watching season 4 right now, but I’ve read up on what happens in the episodes I haven’t seen. My prompts are seasons 1-3 centric, but feel free to incorporate later -season details or set your work later, I don’t mind spoilers!

• Jamie Fraser/Frank Randall - I am so into AUs where Frank ends up going back in time instead of/in addition to Claire. (Background Claire/Frank and/or Claire/Jamie is great, infidelity is also great, completely ignoring Frank’s relationship with Claire is also good! Go with whatever youd like.) Frank doesn’t have Claire’s medical training, but he does have experience with interrogation that could perhaps come in useful. I’m also very intrigued by how this relationship would affect Jamie’s reaction to being raped – he already has issues in his relationship with Claire post-rape, imagine how much worse those could get if his lover is literally identical to his rapist. Also, I would so love to see Jamie ending up in the 20th century – I am so into time travelers from the past experiencing modern (or at least more modern in this case) technology.


• Jamie Fraser/Lord John Grey - I was so excited when canon had Grey actually flirt with Jamie, and I want to see them actually in a relationship! One scenario I have thought about is Jamie finding himself thinking about Grey’s offer to him, and finding himself imagining what it would be like to kiss him and/or have sex with him, perhaps culminating in him kissing Grey during one of their dinners together. Poor Jamie has not had very good experiences with m/m sex, and I would love to see him as bi but convinced that any acting on gay feelings would make him as bad as Black Jack Randall.

Vienna Blood

• Max Liebermann/Oskar Rheinhardt - I love the development of their relationship from antagonism to friendship, and I want so much for them to solve more cases together and kiss and comfort each other through injuries or trauma! If you want to run with my contradictory to canon headcanon, I really love Max as gay but trying to force himself to want relationships with women and suppressing his feelings for Oskar. I would love something set during a case – undercover as gay/a couple and/or an investigation that takes them to the gay subculture/s of Vienna would be really fun! I’d also love to see Max’s views on sexuality and how they might be influenced by his field of study, perhaps contrasted with Oskar’s much less academic views.
