Thank you for writing or drawing for me! I’ve requested fic and art for all of my fandoms. I am within_a_dream on AO3, and you can read my previous letters here if you want to see some of my previous exchange requests!

Discrepancies in length of requests in no way reflects which fandoms/ships/tags I want more! I’ve only elaborated on tags where I thought they were unclear or I had specific prompts, but in all cases feel free to disregard my prompts or ask for more details through the mod. • Any and all sex acts (vaginal, anal, oral, manual, frottage, intercrural, fisting, double penetration, sounding, etc) are great! I have no top/bottom or dom/sub preferences.


• My favorite words for genitals are cock and cunt, but I have no objections to whatever you’d like to use


• Pretty much anything under the BDSM umbrella. I am especially into unnegotiated or undernegotiated kink, and characters falling into kinky dynamics or things they enjoy (especially with the younger characters). I have no dom/sub preferences


• I would love noncon for any of my requested characters or fandoms – if you want to know more about what I like in dubcon or noncon I have a general list of kinks and tropes here in my Consent Issues letter. I generally prefer noncon with an OC or canonical antagonist as the rapist, and "fuck or die" setups between my requested characters are also great!


• Roleplay – I am into both serious roleplay and goofy scenarios that the characters can’t quite take seriously, and I am especially fond of rape roleplay/consensual non-consent

Blake & Avery Series - M. J. Carter

As far as the canon ship goes, I’m cool with AUs where Avery and Helen never got together, just not mentioning their marriage, them coming to an arrangement to go their separate ways/stay married for convenience but pursue their own lover/s, or full-on infidelity angst.

Helen Larkbridge/Matty Horner (hurt Helen, Matty, both) - One thing I wanted that the books didn’t give me was Helen getting a happy ending, and I would love to see that happy ending involve Matty! I am also fond of Helen realizing at some point after her marriage that she’s a lesbian. I would love for these two to get in on the mystery-solving action, whether by helping Blake and Avery or coming across a mystery on their own.

• Recovering from sexual assault / attempted sexual assault – I have no scenario in mind, I just love rape recovery/aftermath fic. Maybe it’s during an investigation, and the other character blames herself for not rescuing the victim


• Character worships insecure character's least favorite body part(s), Character worships insecure character's whole body – for hurt Matty, we know Helen is very beautiful, and I can see Matty feeling really insecure about her own appearance in comparison to her lover’s until Helen shows her just how beautiful she thinks she is. For hurt Helen, I would especially love something after she has her baby, where she feels like she’s lost her looks (which have always been what she’s told are her main worth, perhaps), and Matty tells her just how much she loves her stretch marks and baby fat. [No worries about my pregnancy DNW here as long as you set it after Helen gives birth.]

Jeremiah Blake/William Avery (hurt Blake, Avery, both) - I love the relationship these two have so much, and I so desperately want them to kiss. I would love more solving crimes, more helping each other through tight situations, or just a quiet shippy scene.

Green Men Series - K. J. Charles

Hugh Barnaby/Max Isaacs (both hurt) - I was so intrigued by these two in the book, and I want so many more fanworks about them! I love their tragic noncon-experimentation past, and their friendship, and would love a gift set any time from the war to the book’s events and beyond. I would love to see them ending up seeking solace in each other during the war. I’d also love to see a post-war fanwork with them comforting each other through the bad episodes that the book alludes to. Also, if your fanwork leads itself to focusing on just one or the other being hurt rather than equal hurt for both of them, that is fine!

Six of Crows Series - Leigh Bardugo

Jesper Fahey/Wylan Van Eck (hurt Wylan) - I love these two and I want to see so much more angst and h/c about them! I have a particular headcanon that Wylan’s father sexually abused him if you want to run with that, but you can also feel free to just draw on all the bad things that canonically happen to him. The perpetrator of the trauma/rape/etc could be Wylan’s father or perhaps someone who ran into him when he was alone and vulnerable after leaving home.

Max Liebermann/Oskar Rheinhardt (Hurt Max, Oskar) – I love the development of their relationship from antagonism to friendship, and I want so much for them to solve more cases together and kiss and comfort each other through injuries or trauma! If you want to run with my contradictory to canon headcanon, I really love Max as gay but trying to force himself to want relationships with women and suppressing his feelings for Oskar.

• Aftermath of a Case – you can use a case from canon, or make up something new

David Cyprian/Richard Vane (hurt David) – I love David and his competence and determination to have the upper hand so much, and I really want you to emotionally or physically wreck him and make him accept Richard’s help. This hurt leading to a falling-out between the two of them and then them not talking to each other about the problem while being tetchy at their friends, as per the fine tradition of canon, is very welcome.

• Recovering from sexual assault / attempted sexual assault – My first thought is that Maltravers’ attack on David goes further than it does in canon and Maltravers ends up raping him, but David ending up in the path of someone very bad through other means, or perhaps Maltravers deciding to get revenge once he returns from his exile to the Continent, are also very welcome


• Coping through past rape through sex with unaware partner fails when character has flashback – especially if David starts avoiding Richard instead of telling him what’s upset him, leading Richard to assume David is having second thoughts about the relationship


• Forcing Exhausted Character to Get Some Sleep, Character is Exhausted From Overwork – maybe something once again goes wrong for the Ricardians that requires quite a bit of fixing on David’s part, and he works himself into exhaustion until Richard has to force him to rest/li>

The Alienist (TV)

Lazlo Kreizler/John Moore (Hurt John, Laszlo, both) - I love these two so much, and I want them to solve more cases together and kiss and patch each other up!

• Character uses sex as a therapeutic tool to deal with trauma – I could see Laszlo suggesting 19th-century sex therapy, for him or John or both. The trauma could be something that happened in canon (John’s assault at Paresis Hall? Laszlo’s canonical abuse? The general aftereffects of seeing so many mutilated dead kids?) or something that you make up


• Character's Past Trauma Is Revealed Against Their Will – could be a scenario where the person who caused the trauma comes across Laszlo and John and mocks the one they raped/tortured/etc, or an accidental discovery via eavesdropping, overhearing, or something else

Julian Medlock/Lord Courtenay (hurt Courtenay), Lawrence Browne/Georgie Turner (hurt Georgie) – Unlike the other halves of their respective pairings, there isn’t one obvious source of hurt for Courtenay or Georgie, so my tags are more of a grab bag. Sickfic is great, physical injuries are great, anything goes!
