Thank you for writing/drawing for me! I’m within_a_dream on AO3. I've requested art and fic for all fandoms/ships, and I've tried to leave art-suitable prompts for all of them as well--but I'm not an artist, so feel free to contact me through the mods if you want more details.

All of the prompts are just suggestions! I'll be happy with any gift focusing on any of my requested ships. Feel free to combine multiple requested ships in the same gift, including combining multiple overlapping ships into poly ships. And feel free to put in any background ships you like; I've got no NOTPs in my requested fandoms.

As far as rating and subject matter go, I’m good with anything from the fluffiest hand-holding to the most dirtybadwrong noncon, and anything in between. Any level of violence or gore is also okay. I love fluff, I love angst, I love porn, and I will most likely love whatever you create for me! For the ships where one of the members dies in canon, I'm good with everyone-lives AUs, sad character death-centric gifts, gifts set before the death, or anything else you can think of.

• Lord Corvin/Guy Frisby/John Raven/Philip Rookwood - I would love to see their first few weeks/months/whatever post-book learning how they fit together. I’m totally down for fluff, but also for a bit of angst with Guy feeling insecure about his place in such a long-running relationship, Corvin and/or John feeling insecure about Philip being enthralled enough with his new beau that he leaves them behind, Philip worrying about balancing his relationships with the other three, etc. Porn-wise I would so love to see their first time having sex all together, especially if it’s Guy who initiates the foursome. I’d also love Guy being introduced to new sex acts or erotic literature. Guy being introduced to o all sorts of exciting aspects of London society now that Guy isn’t trapped in Yarlcote would be great fun. I would also love to see any and all members of the ship interacting with Amanda.

England Series – K.J. Charles

• Archie Curtis/Daniel da Silva - I love everything about their dynamic in the book: their differing skillsets, Daniel’s experience/Archie’s inexperience with sex, and the potential for a future doing espionage together. I would love something set post-canon with them working together if you are inclined to write/draw some spying. I would also love a look into the quieter moments of their post-book life, maybe Archie reading Daniel’s poetry or Daniel introducing Archie to his friends/the queer scene, or his family (or a take on Archie introducing Daniel to his uncle!). Also if you are down for porn, I know there are one or two takes on Archie’s first time bottoming out there but I always want more of that. For a darker fic, I would love some forced-into-a-honeypot mission, forced-to-fuck while undercover, or just plain noncon with an OC that ends with the uninvolved character comforting the victim.

Green Men – K.J. Charles

• Hugh Barnaby/Max Isaacs - I was so intrigued by these two in the book, and I want so many more fanworks about them! I love their tragic noncon-experimentation past, and their friendship, and would love a gift set any time from the war to the book’s events and beyond. I would love to see them ending up seeking solace in each other during the war. I’d also love to see a post-war fanwork with them comforting each other through the bad episodes that the book alludes to, or fic/art of them investigating supernatural occurrences and/or fighting bad guys. Pornwise, I would especially love to see something sexy involving their powers, especially as a reclamation of this thng that was forced on them.

Les Misérables - Victor Hugo

Ships

• Grantaire/Marius Pontmercy - The first live production of Les Mis I saw had Grantaire sit on Marius's lap and kiss him during Red and Black, and I've been in love ever since. I love the idea of Grantaire flustering, corrupting, and/or deflowering Marius, and Grantaire's snark and Marius's earnestness interacting. Grantaire and Marius getting drunk! Grantaire and Marius going to parties! Grantaire seducing Marius and being both dismayed and excited to find out he's a virgin! I would also love to see Grantaire and Gillenormand meeting somehow – Gillenormand’s reaction to his grandson’s new friend would be delightful.


• Courfeyrac/Marius Pontmercy - I realize there are already a billion takes on the "I have come to sleep with you" line and them being roommates, but I never get sick of it. My favorite thing about this pairing is Courfeyrac introducing innocent and anxious Marius to the world. I would also really love something focusing on their respective political views, maybe a conversation set after Marius’s disastrous introduction to Les Amis. I also love Marius (whose upbringing ranges from cold to downright abusive depending on how you interpret the text/which adaptation you’re going off of) learning to have friends and/or be loved.

Queen’s Thief series – Megan Whalen Turner

• Eugenides/Costis Ormentiedes - I love me some loyalty kink and royalty/commoner relationships! I'm especially into fanworks that play with their canonical roles/power dynamics, in a porny way or not (and listen, if you want to make me porn, Costis is such a sub). I'd also love to see Gen training Costis for espionage/his trip to the Mede Empire. I'd also love to see how Costis reacts to ending up as the king's lover, and if any rumors spring up/what Gen does to deter rumors.


• Eugenides/Sophos - I'm interested in these two anywhere from during the events of The Thief to Conspiracy of Kings and beyond. Thief-set gifts would be fun in terms of identity porn, with neither of them knowing who the other really is. It would also be really interesting to see how both would balance a personal relationship with their royal duties (we already see this with their friendship in canon, but I'd love to see how romance would play into it). I'd love to see them stealing a kiss or a moment together while having to hide from those who might see.


• Kamet/Costis Ormentiedes - The culture clash between these two, Kamet adapting to life as a freedman, the sharing of myths and legends, Costis's mediocre Medean...there's nothing I don't love about these two and I desperately want more shippy content for them in my life. I'd love to see Kamet telling Costis more legends, how a romantic relationship would develop in parallel to the events in TaT, or what the two of them get up to post-Thick As Thieves (do they end up staying where they're sent, or do they get dragged back into politics?) And a porn prompt I've had stuck in my head since I read the book--Costis really wants to blow Kamet or have Kamet fuck him, and Kamet is absolutely scandalized, as that is not something a man like Costis should do with a slave. Art-wise, I'd love to see both of them reading together, or Costis interrupting Kamet's reading.

• Dominic Frey/Silas Mason - I love all of their canonical kinks and sex scenes, and any smut along those lines would make me very happy. I would also be very into Silas organizing a gangbang for Dom (feel free to cross over with other K.J. Charles books, with or without changing timelines to make them fit together, or bring in OCs). I’d also love to see them reading and discussing more books together, or talking about political events during or post-canon. If you’d like to write some Dom angst or hurt/comfort, I will direct you to my Nonconathon letter.


• Gabriel Ashleigh/Francis Webster - I love these two, and am very sad we only got a novella that was exclusively about them. I love Ash’s golden-retriever-like personality and how it interacts with Francis’s more reserved demeanor, and I want to see all the fanworks about them! I know it’s been done in a few fics already, but I would especially love to see their reaction to Maltravers getting his hands on Ash’s letters. I’d also love to see them traveling together/touring the Continent post-canon!


• Julius Norreys/Harry Vane - Anything about them is lovely, really. I would love to see more about their trip to the Continent, or more struggles Harry might have reconciling his past with his current identity as nobility. I also read a great fic where they have a threesome and it left me wanting allllll the fanworks about them having threeways – with an OC or another character or whoever you’d like. The two of them exploring kinks together would also be delightful. Also, Harry committing Crimes Against Fashion and Julius’s subsequent exasperation.

• Jerry Crozier/Alexander "Alec" Pyne-ffoulkes - I love everything about their dynamic and their sex scenes in canon and I want so much more! I love the roleplay as "Lord Alexander" and would like to see that continued, or possibly more identities adding on. I would also like to see what both of them get up to post-canon, but especially Jerry now that he’s living a life of leisure after retiring from jewel theft. Alec sketching Jerry is always fun, as is Jerry dressing Alec up in jewelry and/or fancy clothes. I’d also love to see them pulling a heist together, for whatever reason you can come up with.


• Jerry Crozier/Templeton Lane - I always end up falling for the ships that are explicitly contradicted in Charles’ books! I can most easily see these two in a purely sexual friends-with-benefits relationship, perhaps started by a fling after a particularly thrilling heist. But I’m not opposed to a more romantic relationship! Hurt/comfort after one or both of them get injured would also be super fun. I would also love to see their first meeting! Awkward kisses/sex/relationship dynamics in general would also be really fun. I’m not sure how well Jerry’s kinks would mesh with Templeton.

Stanton and Barling – E. M. Powell

• Aelred Barling/Hugo Stanton - I am so in love with these two and I want all the fic/art about them! More of them investigating murders together is very welcome, especially incorporating some details about how different the idea of justice in their time was from what we would consider justice. I’m really into either or both of them being anxious about the relationship, shown either through pining pre-relationship or doubts during the relationship. Barling only has one pretty horrible relationship, and that plus his internalized homophobia is an obvious recipe for angst. On the other side, I could see Stanton having plenty of experience with women but none with men, and being nervous about messing things up. I would also love hurt/comfort, especially with one of them injured on a case (I’d especially love to see Barling being uncharacteristically soft with an injured Stanton, or Stanton forcing an injured Barling to rest).

Outlander

I am in the middle of watching season 4 right now, but I’ve read up on what happens in the episodes I haven’t seen. My prompts are seasons 1-3 centric, but feel free to incorporate later -season details or set your work later, I don’t mind spoilers!

• Jamie Fraser/Frank Randall - I am so into AUs where Frank ends up going back in time instead of/in addition to Claire. (Background Claire/Frank and/or Claire/Jamie is great, infidelity is also great, completely ignoring Frank’s relationship with Claire is also good! Go with whatever youd like.) Frank doesn’t have Claire’s medical training, but he does have experience with interrogation that could perhaps come in useful. I’m also very intrigued by how this relationship would affect Jamie’s reaction to being raped – he already has issues in his relationship with Claire post-rape, imagine how much worse those could get if his lover is literally identical to his rapist. Also, I would so love to see Jamie ending up in the 20th century – I am so into time travelers from the past experiencing modern (or at least more modern in this case) technology.


• Jamie Fraser/Lord John Grey - I was so excited when canon had Grey actually flirt with Jamie, and I want to see them actually in a relationship! One scenario I have thought about is Jamie finding himself thinking about Grey’s offer to him, and finding himself imagining what it would be like to kiss him and/or have sex with him, perhaps culminating in him kissing Grey during one of their dinners together. Poor Jamie has not had very good experiences with m/m sex, and I would love to see him as bi but convinced that any acting on gay feelings would make him as bad as Black Jack Randall.

Vienna Blood

• Max Liebermann/Oskar Rheinhardt - I love the development of their relationship from antagonism to friendship, and I want so much for them to solve more cases together and kiss and comfort each other through injuries or trauma! If you want to run with my contradictory to canon headcanon, I really love Max as gay but trying to force himself to want relationships with women and suppressing his feelings for Oskar. I would love something set during a case – undercover as gay/a couple and/or an investigation that takes them to the gay subculture/s of Vienna would be really fun! I’d also love to see Max’s views on sexuality and how they might be influenced by his field of study, perhaps contrasted with Oskar’s much less academic views. If you’re into noncon, my Nonconathon letter has some fuck-or-die and OC noncon prompts!

I’ve split my general likes into fic and art, but feel free to grab from the fic list for an art gift or vice versa, I just split them by what seems to suit each medium.

Don't get me wrong, I'm down for Eposette fluff, but I also love fanworks that play on the tensions between them. I’d also love to see something set post-barricades with Eponine recovering from being shot, or something with Eponine seducing Cosette at least partially out of jealousy that Marius chose Cosette over him.


• Cosette Fauchelevent/Marius Pontmercy/Éponine Thénardier - Feel free to draw from the Marius/Cosette and/or Cosette/Eponine prompts here. I’m totally down for angsty smut that draws on the tensions between these three characters, or the three of them falling for each other and having less-fraught hot sex.


• Courfeyrac/Marius Pontmercy - I love the sexual tension that can arise from being roommates, and the dynamic of Courfeyrac introducing Marius to kissing, sex, kinks, etc. Or a desperate pre-barricades or during-the-barricades hookup!

• Abishag Shaw & Dominique Viellard - FMoC gave me a craving for Minou and Shaw ending up solving a mystery together. Maybe during one of the times when Ben is out of New Orleans, Shaw seeks help from another January sibling. They both have very different skill sets and different social circles they can traverse, but I see a lot of similarities in how they use social expectations to mask their intelligence, and I'm very intrigued by the idea of them becoming friends.
  


• Abishag Shaw & Olympe Corbier - I really love what we see of Olympe’s voodoo in the books, and I would love to see her come across information about a crime, or to have Shaw ask her to help him investigate. • Benjamin January/Abishag Shaw - This is an especially great relationship for hurt/comfort in my opinion—I'd love to see an injured Shaw forced to rest up and let Ben take care of him. I've also had Shirt on his Back on my mind for my own fic reasons, and I want to see more of the aftermath of Johnny's death and the events of the book on Shaw; him mourning with Ben would be wonderful. I also want to see Shaw open himself up to a relationship.
  


• Benjamin January/Hannibal Sefton - I will love any and all Ben/Hannibal shipfic or art, but I’m especially into an early-in-the-series dynamic where it starts as as a grief-and-loneliness-driven fling for Ben and grows into something more solid. • Benjamin January/Rose Vitrac January - I love everything we see in canon about these two, and I always want more! They have every reason to hate each other, and I want to see them work through that. If you're setting the fic canon-era, I would especially love Cosette meeting Éponine when she goes to deliver Marius's letter, and things following from there, or Valjean saving Éponine in addition to or instead of Marius.
  


• Cosette Fauchelevent/Marius Pontmercy/Éponine Thénardier - I like this ship as either very fluffy or very angsty. (Or both, if you want to combine them!) Fluff-wise, if you want to create an AU where Éponine survives the barricades, or do some domestic scenes with the three of them (and perhaps a kid or kids?), that would be lovely! Angst-wise, I’d really like to see an exploration of how they end up getting together and working through all of their baggage. Cosette and Éponine both have a lot of shit to work through from their childhoods, and Marius is not quite sure what’s going on and also feeling anxious about the relationship (because what doesn’t Marius feel anxious about?), and I’d love to see the three of them brought to an emotional resolution.
  


• Grantaire/Marius Pontmercy - The first live production of Les Mis I saw had Grantaire sit on Marius's lap and kiss him during Red and Black, and I've been in love ever since. I feel like Brick!canon Marius and Grantaire would also make a very interesting couple. I love the idea of Grantaire flustering, corrupting, and/or deflowering Marius, and Grantaire's snark and Marius's earnestness interacting. Grantaire and Marius getting drunk! Grantaire and Marius going to parties! Grantaire seducing Marius and being both dismayed and excited to find out he's a virgin!


• Cosette Fauchelevent/Grantaire/Marius Pontmercy - I may be sailing this ship all by myself. But hear me out—you have Cosette and Marius, surprisingly fluffy and innocent given their pasts, and then you throw in cynical, sarcastic Grantaire. I love the idea of Grantaire “corrupting” them both—either in a sexual sort of way, or just making them forget about propriety for a while. Picture the Pontmercys taking Grantaire to dinner with Gillenormand, and the absolute disaster that would result.
  
  Or picture Marius and/or Cosette at a meeting of Les Amis, and Grantaire finding ways to distract them that infuriate everyone. Imagine Grantaire goading Marius on some philosophical topic or other until finally Marius responds, and Grantaire is thrilled that Pontmercy has grown a spine. Or imagine Grantaire deciding to try out his oratory on Cosette, and finding that she’s a keen and well-read conversationalist.
  
  
  In addition to the prompts above, you could show me how they end up together, if any of them feels guilty about their relationship setup (and how they overcome said guilt), how Grantaire fits into the Pontmercys’ marriage, and/or Grantaire interacting with future Pontmercy children.
  


• Courfeyrac/Marius - All I want in life is Marius angsting over falling for Courfeyrac, only to find that Courfeyrac has fallen just as hard for him. I love Marius being socially awkward, and Courfeyrac introducing Marius to Parisian society or absinthe or the current fashions or anything else. And if you want to get sad, I am 100% down for Marius mourning Courfeyrac and/or ghost!Courfeyrac.
  


• Courfeyrac/Cosette Fauchelevent/Marius Pontmercy - All of the Courfeyrac/Marius stuff still goes. Maybe Cosette asks to meet some of Marius’s friends, and then she meets Courfeyrac and oh no, she’s falling hard….and she thinks Marius might have fallen hard too. Maybe everyone thinks Marius’s wife is cuckolding him with Courfeyrac, but really they’re all three sleeping together. Or maybe Courfeyrac finds out their sex life is kind of a trashfire and volunteers to fix it.
  


• Javert/Marius Pontmercy - My favorite reading of this ship is that Javert is a repressed dom and Marius is a repressed sub (although feel free to switch those roles if you want) and they have horribly unnegotiated kinky sex and Marius feels guilty for cheating on his partner all the while (or perhaps Javert is cheating too, if you’d like to hook him up with Valjean). • Marius Pontmercy/Jean Valjean -
  This would be another good ship for angsty kink + infidelity, where they both fall into a sexual relationship and neither wants to end it despite how guilty they feel. Or maybe Marius decides to apologize for misjudging Valjean with sex and a relationship develops. (You are free to write/draw non-porn too, these are merely suggestions!)

Sins of the Cities series – K. J. Charles

• Justin Lazarus/Nathaniel Roy - The hatesex-to-actually-in-love trajectory in the book was so good for me, and I want to see anything and everything about their post-canon life. Justin using séance tricks on Nathaniel is so great, as is Justin playing at possession in bed. I am also enamored with the idea of them running into an actual ghost. And works featuring Sukey and Emma are also great!
  


• Mark Braglewicz/Pen Starling - They barely had any time together in canon that wasn’t wrapped up with inheritance and murder, so I would love to see what they look like when they’ve had time to settle into a normal relationship. Works with them visiting Greta and Tim (and eventually their kids) would be great. I would also love some smut with them, and I’m especially into seeing how Pen’s genderfluidity interacts with their sex life.
  


• Rowley Green/Clem Talleyfer - I love how utterly besotted these two are with each other, and their understanding of each other. I also love how easily Clem fell into teasing and edging Rowley in bed. With all that Clem talked about teasing Rowley and making him wait to come for hours, I would love to see that actually happening in a fanwork. And I want to see more Clem and Rowley collaborating on taxidermy!
  

Society of Gentlemen series – K. J. Charles

• David Cyprian & Silas Mason - I loved what we saw of their friendship in the series and I want so much more! Playing board games together and talking, Silas’s staunch convictions vs Cyprian’s careful apoliticalness. Perhaps one of them helping the other out of a sticky situation.
  


• David Cyprian/Richard Vane - First off, if you have read Gilded Cage, I am so here for fic/art about the character details revealed there. Otherwise I just want more Cyprian/Richard! Visiting the Continent together, growing old together, maybe Richard trying to give David gifts and David not feeling quite comfortable receiving the kinds of expensive gifts Richard can afford to give him
  


• David Cyprian/Will Quex/Jonathan Shakespeare - Ever since the books mentioned they’ve had the occasional threesome, I have wanted to see it in fanworks. I love their shared past and friendship, and would love fic/art set anywhere in the series’ timeline. I’m also really interested in seeing more of the lower class characters’ perspectives on canon. And I would love to see Quex and Shakespeare teasing Cyprian for how hung up he is on Richard.
  


• Dominic Frey/Silas Mason - I am always here for more smut about them. Would love to see them trying out new kinks together. I’m also very into political debate between them, or exchanging and discussing books
  


• Gabriel Ashleigh/Francis Webster - I love these two, and am very sad we only got a novella that was exclusively about them. I love Ash’s golden-retriever-like personality and how it interacts with Francis’s more reserved demeanor, and I want to see all the fanworks about them! I know it’s been done in a few fics already, but I would especially love to see their reaction to Maltravers getting his hands on Ash’s letters
  


• Julius Norreys/Harry Vane - Anything about them is lovely, really. I would love to see more about their trip to the Continent, or more struggles Harry might have reconciling his past with his current identity as nobility. I also read a great fic where they have a threesome and it left me wanting allllll the fanworks about them having threeways – with an OC or another character or whoever you’d like. Also, Harry committing Crimes Against Fashion and Julius’s subsequent exasperation.
  


• Will Quex/Jonathan Shakespeare - They are my absolute fave side characters and I want to know so much more about them! How did they meet? How did they start Quex’s? What’s their POVs on the events of the series? Porn is also great, especially threesome/moresome porn given we know they like to bring in thirds.
  

Think of England – K. J. Charles

• Archie Curtis/Daniel da Silva - I love everything about their dynamic in the book: their differing skillsets, Daniel’s experience/Archie’s inexperience with sex, and the potential for a future doing espionage together. I would love something set post-canon with them working together if you are inclined to write/draw some spying. I would also love a look into the quieter moments of their post-book life, maybe Archie reading Daniel’s poetry or Daniel introducing Archie to his friends/the queer scene. Also if you are down for porn, I know there are one or two takes on Archie’s first time bottoming out there but I always want more of that. And if you want to write some rape recovery, I have prompts in my Consent Issues letter!
  


• Fenella Carruth/Patricia Merton - I am very into the idea of Fen and Pat running a bit of an investigative agency, and would love to see some casefic/art to that effect. I also loved Pat teaching Fen to shoot and would love to see more of them shooting together, and/or some gunkink porn. And I would love to see their perspectives on the events of Think of England! Also, their relationship allows for so many lovely moments of quiet intimacy and I would love to see them dressing/undressing each other, doing each other’s hair, etc.
  

The Turner Series – Cat Sebastian

• Lady Montbray/Anne Sutherland - I want so much more about these two than we get to see in the books. I would especially love something about the aftermath of Lord Montbray’s death from either of their perspectives. I would also love them attending the theater together, or costume porn (with or without actual porn)
  


• Molly Wilkins/Alice Stapleton - I loved Molly’s daughter and would love to see more of Molly and Alice interacting with her. I also loved Alice coming into herself and letting herself be happy - more of that in fanworks please! I would also like an AU where instead of stealing from the man who wronged Alice they end up killing him, either something serious or something more farcical where they’re trying to hide the body. Also, post-canon stuff where they end up working with Jack’s agency to help other women like Molly helped Alice?
  


• Lawrence Browne/Georgie Turner - First off, I have been thirsting for a work where Penkellis is haunted. Lawrence is used to the ghost and very good at working around it, and Georgie is left sitting there like "what the fuck just threw that book at me, and why is there screaming in the hallways in the middle of the night?" For more canon-compliant works, I love the two of them parenting, and I would love to see more of Lawrence’s mental health issues
  


• Lord Courtenay/Julian Medlock - So there was a bonus story about these two negotiating a threesome, and I would love to actually see the threesome (or any threesome, no need for you to have actually read the bonus story). I would also love to see scenes from the gradual process of Julian loosening up and Courtenay tightening up. Also I would love to see the two of them spending time with Simon!
  


• Oliver Rivington/Jack Turner - I would really love to see more of Jack’s work. I also love Jack’s relationship with his siblings, and would love to see more of Oliver getting to know the other Turners. Also, more sex in Jack’s office please!
  

The Magnificent Seven (2016)

Canonical character deaths are totally fine to include (angsty shipfic/art where one part of the ship is dead are very welcome), as are everyone-lives or someone-lives AUs.

• Goodnight Robicheaux/Billy Rocks – These two are so married in canon, and I want to see all of the backstory. Show me the real story of how they met, or some of their life on the road together. Or hardcore break my heart with a work where one of them dies at Rose Creek but the other survives. Also, listen, it cracks me up that in canon Goody calls Billy "petite" when in reality they have like the exact same build and their actors are basically the same height, and I want a work where Goody is very insecure about his height
  


• Joshua Faraday/Vasquez - I loved the progression from rivalry and wariness to caring about each other that these two had in the movie, and I want all the fanworks for them, falling at any point along the development of their relationship. I've got a soft spot for fic/art showing the recovery process after an AU where Faraday survives the battle at Rose Creek, although I'd definitely be down for Vasquez mourning Faraday's death as well.
  


• Sam Chisolm & Red Harvest & Vasquez - I would love something post-canon showing where these three go next. Do they end up taking on more robber barons or bad men? How do they mourn the loss of the other four? I'd just love to see these three off on more adventures or taking solace in each other
  


• Sam Chisolm & Emma Cullen & Red Harvest & Vasquez - Everything above still goes, but I'm really into the idea of Emma joining the surviving members of the seven and seeking justice for more people. I loved her determination in the film, and more of that in fic would be wonderful.
  


• Red Harvest/Vasquez - This is another ship I’m mostly into post-canon. I don’t have any concrete prompts other than post-canon adventuring growing into love or a friends-with-benefits relationship, but these two are some of my favorite characters and I’d love to see them shipped together.
  


• Sam Chisolm/Goodnight Robicheaux - Sam and Goody's backstory fascinates me, and I'd love to see more of it. I'd love a first-time story showing how they ended up as lovers, or something showing how they parted ways.
  


• Sam Chisolm/Joshua Faraday/Red Harvest/Jack Horne/Goodnight/Billy/Vasquez, Sam Chisolm/Emma Cullen/Joshua/Red Harvest/Jack Horne/Teddy Q/Goodnight/Billy/Vasquez - I always and forever want ensemble casts to have orgies/end up in a giant poly relationship. Maybe there’s a "we might die tomorrow, might as well fuck" thing going on, or a "we all survived" thing if you do an everyone-lives AU. Or everyone taking down more bad guys while in many complicated and intertwined relationships (and maybe an outsider POV trying to figure out just what is going on with these guys romantically/sexually)

• Auggie Hilderbrandt/Chuck Steinberg - I would be especially into something set post-canon, with them trapped in some sort of nightmarescape trying to survive and find their way home, and also finding themselves falling for each other. I would also be very into pre-canon teen romance and/or first forays into sex. Or Chuck’s reaction to Auggie’s disappearance if you wanna get sad!
  


• Sarah Bellows & Stella Nicholls, Stella Nicholls/Sarah Bellows - I loved how sympathetic the main antagonist of the movie was, and I loved how much Stella could empathize with her. I would love an AU where Sarah’s ghost maybe hangs around for a bit after the movie’s events to help them figure out how to undo the disappearances, or something set during the movie exploring Sarah and Stella’s relationship. And listen, you can’t go wrong with ghost romance or ghost sex. Stella and Sarah kissing while Sarah’s trapped in Sarah’s bedroom could be fun!
  


• Ramón Morales & Stella Nicholls, Ramón Morales/Stella Nicholls - I would love to see the aftermath of Ramon’s time in Vietnam, and/or some of his and Stella’s letters. I would also love to see how the two of them get along as adults: Ramon will certainly have grown up a lot mentally when he comes home from the war, and I’m sure Stella will have changed a lot as well
  



• Stella Nicholls/Ruth Steinberg - I want to see more of their post-canon adventures! I also am big into teens/young adults having their lesbian/bi/etc awakenings, and would love to see that for one or both of them (I’m especially fond of Ruthie as a lesbian who is realizing that Tommy being a huge dick who later disappeared mysteriously isn’t the only reason their date didn’t work out). And if you keep Stella in a relationship with Ramon, I’m especially into her finding herself falling for Ruth and feeling horribly guilty about it (or maybe writing a lot about Ruth in her letters to Ramon, thinking it’s completely platonic, until Ramon calls her out on it in a letter back)
  


• Ramón Morales/Stella Nicholls/Ruth Steinberg - Feel free to take anything from the Stella/Ruth and Stella/Ramon prompts! I also am really into teens fumbling into messy poly relationships and figuring out how things are gonna work, especially in a historical setting like this where they probably don’t have any examples to look up to as like, functional poly triads. Also, post-war ghost/monster hunting!

You are welcome to keep things in their canon times or shift things around so the canons happen at the same time (I’m absolutely horrid at timelines, so I think most of these canons happen vaguely concurrently but who knows?)

Part I – Romance Novels

• Amanda Frisby (Band Sinister) & Theodore Swann (Wanted A Gentleman) - There was a passing line in Band Sinister about Corvin (I think) introducing Amanda to his friend Theodora Swan the novelist, and I so desperately want them meeting up and talking shop, commiserating over plot/work/character troubles, maybe cowriting something...
  


• Archie Curtis(Think of England)/Daniel da Silva (ToE) & Randolph Glyde(Green Men)/Saul Lazenby (GM) - I just want Archie and Daniel to find themselves in the middle of a supernatural situation. Especially if they’re sent to deal with something for work, and get in way over their heads. Or perhaps they meet first in a social situation, and then run into each other through one or both of the groups’ work? My first thought was setting this in the future for Archie and Daniel, especially because I’d love to see how WW1 treats them, but you don’t have to include that if you don’t want to!
  


• Cora Delacourt (Page & Sommers) & Patricia Merton (Think of England), Cora Delacourt (Page & Sommers)/Patricia Merton (Think of England) - I just want these two sharpshooters from spy novels to meet! Maybe Pat runs across another situation of espionage-in-progress, or maybe she is recruited herself. Maybe they meet at a shooting competition! I would also love to see them hook up, especially if this hookup involves gunplay
  



• Cora Delacourt(Page&Sommers)/Edith Pickering (P&S) & Fen Carruth (Think of England)/Pat Merton (ToE), Cora Delacourt(Page&Sommers)/Edith Pickering (P&S)/Fen Carruth (Think of England)/Pat Merton (ToE) – Feel free to use my Cora&/Pat prompts and just add in the girlfriends! I would also love to see a setup where Pat and Fen are independently investigating something (I love the headcanon where they end up being basically private detectives) and run into yet more spies
  


• Lord Corvin (Band Sinister) & Lord Courtenay (Turner Series), Lord Corvin (Band Sinister)/Lord Courtenay (Turner Series) - Reading the Turner Series, I was struck by how similar Courtenay is to Corvin in the broad strokes, so of course I want to see them meet up. Maybe in Courtenay’s more disreputable days, or maybe they become or stay friends after the events of Courtenay’s book (and he and Julian have to convince Lawrence that Corvin really isn’t as bad as he is made out to be). I also feel like these two would have definitely hooked up at some point in the past if they lived in the same book series, and I would love to see that hookup
  



• Lord Courtenay (Turner Series)/Julian Medlock (Turner Series) & The Murder (Band Sinister) - Listen, I just want to see Courtenay take Julian to a party hosted by Philip or Corvin without telling him where they’re going, and Julian have a heart attack when he realizes just where they are. The Murder and Courtenay seem like they would get along very well, and I feel like once Julian gets over the shock he would enjoy himself as well.
  


• Lord Courtenay (Turner Series)/Julian Medlock (Turner Series)/The Murder (Band Sinister) – Everything for the gen ship still goes, but also, I just want Courtenay and Julian joining in an orgy
  


• Silas Mason (Society of Gentlemen) & John Raven (Band Sinister) - I would especially love for these two to meet via correspondence about politics (although I must confess I don’t know enough about 1820s-30s politics to prompt coherently about it). I feel like they would get along swimmingly, and Silas would probably be happy to have another non-aristocratic friend. (You are welcome to make this romantic rather than platonic if you wish!)
  


• The Murder (Band Sinister) & The Ricardians (Society of Gentlemen) - These two groups are such opposites, I would absolutely love to see them interact. Maybe the Ricardians get invited to a Murder party for Reasons, or their paths cross due to blackmail or politics or another canon-typical plotline? I don’t have a ton of prompts, but I will love absolutely anything that throws them in a room together. (I have read the one crossover that exists on AO3, and it is lovely, and I want 10 million more.)
  


• Dominic Frey/Silas Mason (Society of Gentlemen)/Lord Corvin/John Raven (Band Sinister) - We know from some of the extra short stories that Dom and Silas are down for threesomes/moresomes, and I really want Silas to introduce Dom to some of his friends for the occasional night of absolutely filthy sex. (I would totally be down for Philip and/or Guy joining in as well!) I would also love Dom and Silas ending up romantically involved with the Murder, and especially Silas and John ganging up on Dom in debates. I could also see Richard having to grudgingly come to terms with the concept of polyamory just like he had to do for Dom’s kinks

Part II – IT

• Beverly Marsh (IT)/Stella Nicholls (Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark) - Maybe Bev ends up living in Mill Valley when she moves in with her aunt, or Stella’s quest to find and free her friends takes her to Derry. Or they could meet as adults, with Stella as a paranormal researcher who initially meets Bev when she’s investigating what happened in Derry. I would love to see either of the girls having a lesbian/bi/etc awakening, and/or facing down a ghost together
  


• Dan "Danny" Torrance (Doctor Sleep (2019))/Richie Tozier (IT (Movies)), Eddie Kaspbrak (IT (Movies))/Dan "Danny" Torrance (Doctor Sleep (2019)), Eddie Kaspbrak (IT (Movies))/Richie Tozier (IT (Movies))/Dan "Danny" Torrance (Doctor Sleep (2019)) - I just want these dudes with horror movie childhoods who get dragged back into that horror as an adult to date. They have so much in common! I would love to see one of them accidentally letting slip something supernatural from their life and fully expecting their new boyfriend to run screaming, and then not only does he stay, he opens up about his life as well.
  

Part III – Benjamin January

• Benjamin January (Benjamin January - Barbara Hambly) & Jeremiah Blake (Blake & Avery - MJ Carter), Benjamin January (Benjamin January - Barbara Hambly)/Jeremiah Blake (Blake & Avery - MJ Carter) - I had never considered this crossover, but it is >genius. Two mystery-solving polyglots meet, solve more mysteries together, and possibly kiss, what’s not to love? I could see Blake ending up in New Orleans after the events of his series, or maybe there’s another reason for Ben (and some of the other characters?) to end up in England or India or Blake (and Avery?) to end up in New Orleans. I would love to see them solving crimes together, or teaching each other some of the languages they don’t share
  


• Rufus Carlin & Wyatt Logan & Lucy Preston (Timeless) & Benjamin January (Benjamin January Mysteries) - I really want the Timeless gang to travel back to 1830s New Orleans, guys. I nommed Ben as the crossover character, but I would be equally happy with any or all Benjamin January characters. Ben playing the role of the historical-figure-of-the-episode and helping the Timeless characters accomplish their mission would be delightful, as would them having to help Ben solve a mystery. I would also love to see the Timeless gang bending the rules of time travel and telling Ben some of the positive changes that the future will bring (feel free to get full sappy/cheesy with this)

I am especially interested in seeing takes on Saul learning more about his new role/abilities and this hidden world he’s fallen into. Hurt/comfort with one of them being injured in the line of duty is also amazing. I’d also love some fic/art further post-canon with Randolph and Saul recruiting apprentices to their current roles.


• Hugh Barnaby/Max Isaacs - I was so intrigued by these two in the book, and I want so many more fanworks about them! I love their tragic noncon-experimentation past, and their friendship, and would love a gift set any time from the war to the book’s events and beyond. I would love to see them ending up seeking solace in each other during the war. I’d also love to see a post-war fanwork with them comforting each other through the bad episodes that the book alludes to. Sam Wyndham Series - Abir Mukherjee

• Sam Wyndham/Surenandrath "Surrender-not" Banerjee - I really loved seeing their relationship grow over the course of the series, and would love to see how a romantic and/or sexual relationship would fit into the arc of the books. I was ecstatic that they ended up roommates after the first book, and would love to see them falling for each other during that time and having to live with the incredible awkwardness of falling for someone you live with (especially if you throw in some mutual pining). I also love the two of them solving crimes together, and how Sam draws on Surrender-not’s knowledge, and would love to see more of that in fic. Frozen Man- James Taylor (song)
Lyrics, Song

Taylor was inspired to write the song after seeing a National Geographic issue with a photo of John Torrington's corpse, and that in turn is how I found the song, as I have a ridiculous fascination with preserved corpses of all varieties. (Fair warning, if you google Torrington, lots of pictures of his exhumed body come up.) But the main thing that interests me about the song is the narrator's return to life, cobbled together and thawed out after what should have been his death. This hits me right in my love of the "comes back wrong" trope, as well as my love for time-travel stories in which people from the past get to explore our present.
I'd love a work that takes the backstory Taylor grants the frozen man in his song, one that draws on Torrington's life and death, or one that disregards both to come up with a different story entirely. The part of the story that grabs me is the death and resurrection, and I'd love to see anywhere that that takes you.

Art-wise, I'd love to see the details of what this thawing and medical intervention did to the Frozen Man, or any of the scenes from the song (I especially love the lyrics where he visits his grave, and sees the graves of his family).

Furnace Room Lullaby- Neko Case (song)

Lyrics, Song

I love me a good murder ballad, and this song is so atmospheric and eerie, with plenty of room for interpretation in the lyrics. I love the imagery of the narrator drawn down to the basement, and the heartbeat that echoes all night. Is the narrator being haunted by guilt, or by the ghost of the murder victim? What led to the crime? I'd love a fic that fleshes out the relationship between the narrator and the person she sings to, and explores what happened between them, and/or one that plays with the guilt the narrator feels (whether you take the heartbeats and hauntings described as figurative or literal). In art, I'd love to see something that captures the claustrophobic and dark sound of the song, and/or some visualization of all the imagery the song employs.

The Ghost of Genova Heights- Stars (song)

Lyrics, Song

My favorite part of the song is the contrast between the suburban setting and the supernatural haunting. Where and how did the ghost die, and how did he end up back in Genova Heights? The lyrics (Genova Heights are hard to leave) suggested to me that something about the suburb draws in souls, or the sameness of the neighborhood keeps ghosts locked inside it, but I'm down for wherever the song takes you.

I also love the imagery of the ghostly communications:

Take Me To The Riot- Stars (song) I'm fascinated by the relationship between the narrator and the "you" he addresses. Some of my favorite lines:

What's their relationship? What kind of riots is the narrator atttending? I’ve always pictured them as politically-motivated (which is probably colored by the context of the rest of the album), but the lyrics make it sound like the narrator and the other rioters are treating them more like a party. What holds the narrator and the person he addresses together even though they seem to hate him? I picture the setting as a futuristic dystopia and/or sci-fi setting, but that's not mandatory.

Art-wise, the lyrics paint an evocative picture of the city and its residents, and I’d love to see something exploring the contrast between the energy of the riots and the weariness in some of the song lyrics. I’d love to see the “slick girls and sick boys”, the person with the empty eyes and face used to lying, or a riot in action.

They both have very different skill sets and different social circles they can traverse, but I see a lot of similarities in how they use social expectations to mask their intelligence, and I'm very intrigued by the idea of them becoming friends.

Next up are the two-person and three-person ships, plus some non-Shaw gen. I had to cut some relationships for space, but I’m down for platonic versions of any ships I requested for this fandom.

• Augustus Mayerling/Madeline Mayerling - I love what we've seen of these two in the books, and would adore anything about them. Maybe something about how they met, or their first kiss. Or a scene from their wedding (or wedding night), or Augustus and Madeline's reaction to the events of A Free Man Of Color, since we only get to see Ben's POV in the book.


• Ayasha January & Hannibal Sefton - I always want more Ayasha content, but Hannibal & Ayasha in particular would be an intriguing relationship. An AU where Hannibal ends up meeting Ben and Ayasha in Paris would be neat, but I’m down for any way you want to bring them together!


• Ayasha January/Benjamin January - I loved what we've gotten to see of Ayasha, and I would love to see you fill in any of the gaps! Tell me more about Ben and Ayasha’s first meeting, or show me Ayasha teaching Ben about tailoring or Ben teaching Ayasha about music or medicine. I also loved the new details about their life in Paris from Murder in July, and anything with them interacting with their friends (or the street kids!) would be great.


• Benjamin January/Abishag Shaw - This is an especially great relationship for hurt/comfort in my opinion—I'd love to see an injured Shaw forced to rest up and let Ben take care of him. I've also had Shirt on his Back on my mind for my own fic reasons, and I want to see more of the aftermath of Johnny's death and the events of the book on Shaw; him mourning with Ben would be wonderful. I also want to see Shaw open himself up to a relationship.


• Benjamin January/Hannibal Sefton - I will love any and all Ben/Hannibal shipfic or art, but I’m especially into an early-in-the-series dynamic where it starts as as a grief-and-loneliness-driven fling for Ben and grows into something more solid.


• Benjamin January/Rose Vitrac January-I love everything we see in canon about these two, and I always want more! I’d love to see them solving mysteries together, doing science together, or talking about literature together. Parenting fluff would be lovely, if kidfic is your thing! As a notoriously bad cook myself, I love the times it’s mentioned in the books that Rose is horrible at cooking, and I’d love to read a fic showing her and Ben’s misadventures in the kitchen. I’d also love to see crossdressing spinning off of one of the times Rose has disguised herself as a boy, if you’d like to do something pornier.


• Benjamin January/Rose Vitrac January/Abishag Shaw - Shaw is so closed-off in canon, I really want to see him opening up and getting romantically involved with Ben and Rose. I'd love to see how they get together (do Rose and Ben set out to seduce Shaw? Does Shaw unexpectedly kiss Ben?), hurt/comfort with Shaw injured on the job and Ben and Rose insisting on him resting up, or Shaw interacting with the January kids.


• Benjamin January/Rose Vitrac January/Hannibal Sefton - I love the friendship dynamic of these three in the books, and I’d love anything that expands that dynamic to a romantic relationship. I’d love to see how the three of them ended up as a triad, or any events of the books reexamined from a shippy perspective. I’d also love to see them doing science or making music or solving mysteries together, or hurt/comfort (either stemming from one of the times any of them is injured or traumatized in the books, or an original incident).


• Chloë Viellard/Dominique Viellard - I’d love a first time fic, showing how these two came to like each other or love each other (or their first kiss or first time having sex). I also headcanon Minou as very into ridiculous sexy roleplay, and I’d love to see her trying to talk Chloë into joining her in this. I’d also love to see the two of them interacting with Charmian.


• Dominique Viellard/Chloe Viellard/Henri Viellard - This relationship has fascinated me since we met Chloë. We saw a bit of Chloë and Minou interacting in Wet Grave, but I’d love to see more, as well as how Henri plays into things. How do the three of them negotiate their relationship (or do they just never discuss it?) I tend to ship this as a V, with Minou involved with both Chloë and Henri, and Chloë a lesbian who’s only married to Henri for convenience’s sake, but if you favor having Chloë and Henri romantically and/or sexually involved, I’m also down with that! I’d love to see Chloë and Henri’s wedding and wedding night, perhaps compared or contrasted with Chloë/Minou, Henri/Minou, or all three of them together.


• Rose Vitrac January/Hannibal Sefton - I would especially love something set pre-canon, with their friendship having grown into a casually romantic relationship. I also really want to see more of how Hannibal and Rose met, and how Rose ended up friends with/trusting Hannibal.

I am down for anything on the fluff-to-darkfic spectrum here. Feel free to resurrect Gus, leave him dead, bring him back Wrong, bring him back as a ghost, or whatever you’d like!

• Gus Balfour & Jack Miller & Algie Carlisle - I loved the dynamic between these three in the book, especially how poorly Jack felt he fit in with them, and I’d love to see a fic set during there time together at Gruhuken. I’d also love a post-canon work with them processing what happened together, or possibly an AU where Gus comes back from the dead or comes back as a ghost.


• Gus Balfour/Jack Miller - I will love literally anything about this ship! I’d love to see Jack confessing his feelings to Gus, or being haunted (literally or metaphorically) by Gus. I would also love some porn about these two, maybe something surreptitious during the canon timeline or something post-canon set in a Gus-lives AU. Or, if you’re as into angsty fuck-or-die as I am, I’d love to see that trope used with Gus/Jack. Maybe Gus or Gus’s soul ends up trapped at Gruhuken, and (for whatever reason you’d like) the only way to free him is for he and Jack to have sex.

Les Miserables – Victor Hugo

Fandom-Specific DNW/Request: if you write a modern AU or any other setting-change AU, I’d prefer to keep Marius, Cosette, and Eponine’s canon backstories roughly the same (that is, Cosette and Eponine were raised together, Cosette was given to the Thenardiers as a child since her mother couldn’t care for her for whatever reason, and Marius was raised by his grandfather and kept away from his father). If it doesn’t come up (as it likely wouldn’t in art or in a shorter fic) that’s fine! I just don’t want their rough childhoods and Cosette and Eponine’s connection replaced in an AU.

I am totally fine with gifts including canonical character death, even if that death is one of the characters in my ships! (Of course, you are also free to do an everyone-lives or someone-lives AU.)

For this fandom, I’m fine with giving Cosette a bio-kid. I still don’t want to see her pregnant in art, and I don’t want a fic completely focused on her pregnancy rather than on any kids that result, but feel free to do kidfic or art by giving Cosette and Marius a baby.

• Cosette Fauchelevent/Éponine Thénardier - These two have such a rich past together, and I’d love something with the two of them working through their childhoods post-canon. They have every reason to hate each other, and I want to see them work through that. If you're setting the fic canon-era, I would especially love Cosette meeting Éponine when she goes to deliver Marius's letter, and things following from there, or Valjean saving Éponine in addition to or instead of Marius.


• Cosette Fauchelevent/Marius Pontmercy - I desperately want more post-canon fic for this ship. All of Marius’s friends are dead and he’s probably got some trauma from the barricades, the only family Cosette has ever known is also dead...I want to see where they go after the wedding. (Nb: feel free to do a fix-it where Valjean and/or any of Les Amis live! I would also love a less-sad post-canon work.) I’d also love to see them getting to know each other more, or maybe exploring sex together.


• Cosette Fauchelevent/Marius Pontmercy/Éponine Thénardier - I like this ship as either very fluffy or very angsty. (Or both, if you want to combine them!) Fluff-wise, if you want to create an AU where Éponine survives the barricades, or do some domestic scenes with the three of them (and perhaps a kid or kids?), that would be lovely! Angst-wise, I’d really like to see an exploration of how they end up getting together and working through all of their baggage. Cosette and Éponine both have a lot of shit to work through from their childhoods, and Marius is not quite sure what’s going on and also feeling anxious about the relationship (because what doesn’t Marius feel anxious about?), and I’d love to see the three of them brought to an emotional resolution.


• Courfeyrac/Marius Pontmercy - All I want in life is Marius angsting over falling for Courfeyrac, only to find that Courfeyrac has fallen just as hard for him. I love Marius being socially awkward, and Courfeyrac introducing Marius to Parisian society or absinthe or the current fashions or anything else. And if you want to get sad, I am 100% down for Marius mourning Courfeyrac and/or ghost!Courfeyrac.


• Enjolras/Marius Pontmercy - I primarily ship this as angry politics-fueled hatesex (and/or hate-makeouts), but if you’d prefer to take a different tack, feel free! I’ve only got prompts for hatesex, though. Picture Enjolras deciding he needs to talk some sense into this Pontmercy after his disastrous first meeting with Les Amis (after all, he’s a friend of Courfeyrac’s, so he can’t be completely oblivious). But the conversation escalates to another argument, and Enjolras’s dommy tendencies and Marius’s subby tendencies are awoken, and things escalate. Picture Enjolras’s outrage when he realizes that not only has he slept with a Bonapartiste, he probably didn’t even manage to change Marius’s opinions.


• Grantaire/Marius Pontmercy - The first live production of Les Mis I saw had Grantaire sit on Marius's lap and kiss him during Red and Black, and I've been in love ever since. I love the idea of Grantaire flustering, corrupting, and/or deflowering Marius, and Grantaire's snark and Marius's earnestness interacting. Grantaire and Marius getting drunk! Grantaire and Marius going to parties! Grantaire seducing Marius and being both dismayed and excited to find out he's a virgin!


• Grantaire/Marius Pontmercy/Cosette Fauchelevent - I may be sailing this ship all by myself. But hear me out—you have Cosette and Marius, surprisingly fluffy and innocent given their pasts, and then you throw in cynical, sarcastic Grantaire. I love the idea of Grantaire “corrupting” them both—either in a sexual sort of way, or just making them forget about propriety for a while. Picture the Pontmercys taking Grantaire to dinner with Gillenormand, and the absolute disaster that would result.
  
  

  Or picture Marius and/or Cosette at a meeting of Les Amis, and Grantaire finding ways to distract them that infuriate everyone. Imagine Grantaire goading Marius on some philosophical topic or other until finally Marius responds, and Grantaire is thrilled that Pontmercy has grown a spine. Or imagine Grantaire deciding to try out his oratory on Cosette, and finding that she’s a keen and well-read conversationalist.

• Javert/Marius Pontmercy - My favorite reading of this ship is that Javert is a repressed dom and Marius is a repressed sub (although feel free to switch those roles if you want) and they have horribly unnegotiated kinky sex and Marius feels guilty for cheating on his partner all the while (or perhaps Javert is cheating too, if you’d like to hook him up with Valjean). Really, though, anything with grumpy Javert and awkward Marius would be lovely!


• Marius Pontmercy/Jean Valjean - This would be another good ship for angsty kink + infidelity, where they both fall into a sexual relationship and neither wants to end it despite how guilty they feel. Or maybe Marius decides to apologize for misjudging Valjean with sex and a relationship develops. (You are free to write/draw non-porn too, these are merely suggestions!)


• Montparnasse/Marius Pontmercy - Really, I just think these two would be pretty together. I’m happy for anything from fully consensual to noncon for these two, and I’m especially into Montparnasse seducing a hapless Marius intending to steal from him, but deciding after seeing how adorably flustered Marius gets that they might as well hook up.


• Théodule Gillenormand/Marius Pontmercy - Feel free to lean into the cousincest dynamic, or not have Marius and Theodule think about their familial relationship at all. I’m very into Theodule bringing Marius out of his shell a bit, taking him out for a night on the town, or helping him dress up nice (or maybe learn how to kiss) to impress the girl he’s been mooning after. I’d also be into Marius latching onto Theodule after Theodule is kind (or at least not cruel) to him and a relationship developing, possibly with Theodule thinking it’s just a fling and Marius getting Very Attached.

The Queen’s Thief – Megan Whalen Turner

• Eugenides/Costis Ormentiedes - I love me some loyalty kink and royalty/commoner relationships! I'm especially into fanworks that play with their canonical roles/power dynamics, in a porny way or not (and listen, if you want to make me porn, Costis is such a sub). I'd also love to see Gen training Costis for espionage/his trip to the Mede Empire. I'd also love to see how Costis reacts to ending up as the king's lover, and if any rumors spring up/what Gen does to deter rumors.


• Attolia | Irene/Eugenides/Costis Ormentiedes - One of my favorite things about this ship is the power imbalance. Costis very clearly views Attolia and Eugenides as monarchs rather than humans, which would make his relationship with them very interesting indeed? Who invites him to bed? Do they prefer to order him around, or let him take charge? If you want to get into D/s dynamics, I have a vague headcanon that Gen is a stubborn and mouthy sub—although things with Irene are complicated now because of their history, of course (maybe that’s where Costis comes in!). I’d love to see the same themes of overcoming power imbalance in non-porny works as well
  
  

  I’d also love to see more of Attolia and Costis interacting, if you’d like. We see a fair bit of Gen and Costis interacting in The King Of Attolia, but I’d love to see Costis and Irene talk, especially involved in this romantic relationship (whether as a triad or two sides of a V).



• Kamet/Costis Ormentiedes - The culture clash between these two, Kamet adapting to life as a freedman, the sharing of myths and legends, Costis's mediocre Medean...there's nothing I don't love about these two and I desperately want more shippy content for them in my life. I'd love to see Kamet telling Costis more legends, how a romantic relationship would develop in parallel to the events in TaT, or what the two of them get up to post-Thick As Thieves (do they end up staying where they're sent, or do they get dragged back into politics?) And a porn prompt I've had stuck in my head since I read the book--Costis really wants to blow Kamet, and Kamet is absolutely scandalized, as that is not something a man like him should do to a slave. Art-wise, I'd love to see both of them reading together, or Costis interrupting Kamet's reading.


• Eugenides/Kamet/Costis Ormentiedes - Gen’s interactions with Kamet in Conspiracy of Kings were great, and I already ship both Costis/Kamet and Costis/Gen, so the clear next step is putting those ships together! I like this as a Costis/Gen + Costis/Kamet V, as well as a triad. I love seeing how the politics and manipulation of canon would play into romantic relationships, as well as the logistics of royalty having and hiding polyamorous relationships.


• Attolia | Irene/Eugenides/Kamet/Costis Ormentiedes -
  Everything for the above two relationships still goes, prompt-wise! I tend to ship this as Costis/Kamet+Costis/Attolia/Eugenides, but I’m open to other configurations as well. I would love to see Kamet reacting to established Costis/Attolia/Eugenides, and/or anything about working out the logistics of dating a guardsman who’s dating two monarchs.


• Attolia | Irene/Eugenides/Relius - The platonic relationship we see in the books already fascinates me, and I’m so here for making it explicitly romantic. I’m especially interested in Relius’s imprisonment and the aftermath, but I’d also be into pre-canon Irene/Relius that grows to incorporate Eugenides (as an Irene-centered V or a triad), or pretty much anything involving this ship. I’m also really into the mess that results from tangling duties as a monarch with personal feelings.


• Eugenides/Eugenides the God - The presence of the gods, and various characters realizing how very real and present in Gen’s life they are, is one of my favorite parts of the series. I don’t have specific prompts for this pairing, but I couldn’t resist requesting it when I saw it in the tagset. I’m very here for adding romance and/or sex to Gen’s worship of Eugenides the god (although if you write fic, I salute you in advance for tackling the issue of writing shipfic for two characters with the same name). For fic, I would really love something playing with Eugenides-the-god’s divine status, where it comes across that he’s very much not a mortal/human (however you want to take that). For art, I’d love something using an altar or temple or similar place as the setting.


• Eugenides/Sophos - I'm interested in these two anywhere from during the events of The Thief to Conspiracy of Kings and beyond. Thief-set gifts would be fun in terms of identity porn, with neither of them knowing who the other really is. It would also be really interesting to see how both would balance a personal relationship with their royal duties (we already see this with their friendship in canon, but I'd love to see how romance would play into it). I'd love to see them stealing a kiss or a moment together while having to hide from those who might see.


• Kamet/Nahuseresh - I am very into having sex with Nahuseresh being one of Kamet’s duties, and I’d be into any take on how Kamet would feel about that. Any dynamic other than fluffy consent is also good, from brutal noncon with Nahuseresh using Kamet as an outlet for his frustrations to gentler sex that Kamet is resigned to as part of his role as a slave. I’m also very interested in having past-Kamet/Nahuseresh mentioned in my other Kamet ships, with Kamet not seeing it as a big deal and the other character/s being horrified.

Historical RPF

First off: I don’t know a lot about the periods of history I’m requesting, and I will not mind at all if your gift to me has some inaccuracies or isn’t accompanied by a 12-book bibliography. You can get the gist of what I like about my requested ships from their Wikipedia pages.

• Friedrich II von Preußen | Frederick the Great/Hans Hermann von Katte - Cliff’s notes version: when he was 18, Frederick (then crown prince) made a plan to run away to England with his tutor Katte and a few others. One of the others turned them in to the king, who made Frederick watch Katte being executed. I have only dabbled in the history, but I would really love to see them falling for each other, planning their escape together, and/or something sad about Katte’s death.


• William Beaumont/Alexis St. Martin - Cliff’s notes version: St. Martin was a voyageur who after being accidentally shot developed a gastric fistula (aka a hole leading to his stomach) which Beaumont used to study digestion. I am so here for gross medical details and inappropriate doctor/patient relationships. Beaumont rather coerced St. Martin into agreeing to the experiments, so I’m down for sexual coercion as well if that’s where your interest lies.

The Magnificent Seven (2016)

I didn’t request Goody/Billy and Faraday/Vasquez only because there are so many great works out there for them already and I wanted to focus on my rarer ships and friendships – feel free to include them as background ships if you want!

A lot of my ships emphasize post-canon works in the prompts, but you are welcome to do an everyone-lives AU and keep the rest of the Seven around as well! Also, I really love fic involving learning languages and with how many of the characters in my requested relationships speak different languages, I’d love to see something with the other characters learning Comanche or Spanish (or French for Sam/Goody) and maybe using those languages to communicate secretly with each other when they’re around people who don’t speak them.

• Red Harvest & Vasquez & Sam Chisolm, Red Harvest/Vasquez/Sam Chisolm - I would love something post-canon showing where these three go next. Do they end up taking on more robber barons or bad men? How do they mourn the loss of the other four? I'd just love to see these three off on more adventures or taking solace in each other, romantically or platonically.


• Red Harvest & Vasquez & Sam Chisolm & Emma Cullen - Everything above still goes, but I'm really into the idea of Emma joining the surviving members of the seven and seeking justice for more people. I loved her determination in the film, and more of that in fic would be wonderful.


• Red Harvest/Vasquez - This is another ship I’m mostly into post-canon. I don’t have any concrete prompts other than post-canon adventuring growing into love or a friends-with-benefits relationship, but these two are some of my favorite characters and I’d love to see them shipped together.


• Sam Chisolm/Goodnight Robicheaux - Sam and Goody's backstory fascinates me, and I'd love to see more of it. I'd love a first-time story showing how they ended up as lovers, or something showing how they parted ways.

Overlord

I went to see this movie on a whim and fell in love with it hard, and I’m so sad there’s not more of a fandom presence for it! This is the smallest and one of the most easily-accessible canons I’m requesting, so if I can sell you on a very fun movie, it’s a World War 2 horror film wherein the leads fight Nazis and zombies and Nazi zombies on D-Day, full of over-the-top gore and really fun characters, and I greatly enjoyed how they threw historical accuracy to the wind both in the "Nazi zombies" aspect and in making the unit which it focused on integrated so they could cast a black lead. My prompts are very spoilery though, so don’t read further if you are planning to watch and want to watch unspoiled!

• Ed Boyce & Jacob Rosenfeld & Tibbet, Ed Boyce/Jacob Rosenfeld/Tibbet - I really want post-canon fic or art about the three survivors, whether you have them together romantically or platonically. They’re the only three living people who know what happened in that town, and I’d love to see them meeting up after the war ends to process that. I’m also totally here for war aftermath in general – they really got dealt a raw hand having to go from taking down a supernatural horror to fighting the rest of WW2. I would love if you gave one or more of the characters a war injury (maybe a missing limb?). Or you could set something during the war! I just loved these three so much, and I would love to see more of them interacting now that they’ve bonded over facing down evil together.


• Boyce/Rosenfeld - Everything for my Boyce/Rosenfeld/Tibbet prompts would also serve here; I’m very into post-canon works for horror films, and I’d love to see what happens to Boyce and Rosenfeld after the war. I’d also love to see something where they fell for each other pre-canon, or maybe during the events of the movie if you can find a way to fit it into the plot!

The Alienist (TV)

Fandom-Specific DNWs: Endgame Laszlo/Mary (I'm fine with Mary being interested in Laszlo as long as the relationship never actually happens), monogamous Sara/John (feel free to include Sara/John elements in Sara/John/Laszlo fics or art!)

I’ve read the novel that the show is based on, so you can feel free to include book canon details. (Of course, the show is my first love, so feel free to stick to show canon.) I haven’t read the sequel, but I don’t mind being spoiled for it if you use parts of it for post-canon fic.

If you want to write darkfic, my Alienist prompts for Darkest Night might interest you! If you don’t want to click through, I asked for noncon, fuck or die, blackmail (especially about sexuality), torture, whump or h/c, forced to watch rape or torture, and traumatic pasts being revealed.

• John Moore & Joseph - I was so ecstatic when Joseph survived the series, and I would love to see John adopting Joseph post-season 1 or just continuing to be a father figure/presence in Joseph’s life post-canon. I would also love to see John helping Joseph deal with the trauma of being nearly murdered by a serial killer. Or really anything similar to their interactions in canon.


• Laszlo Kreizler/John Moore - I would love backstory where they originally hooked up at school (and possibly have been steadfastly ignoring this hookup ever since, until something sparks them back together). I’d also love the proximity of the investigation causing them to fall for each other, possibly with some pining before they realize the feelings are requited. Or hurt/comfort, with either party as the hurt one.


• Sara Howard & Laszlo Kreizler & John Moore - I loved all of their interactions in the show, and would love to see them solving another crime, dealing with the traumas that the first-season investigation dredged up, or just hanging out together. I’m always totally here for hurt/comfort.


• Sara Howard/Laszlo Kreizler/John Moore - All of my gen likes for these three still hold. I’m very into Sara initiating the relationship, with both Laszlo and John being worried about scandalizing her or ruining her/her reputation.


• Sara Howard/Mary Palmer - I may be the only person who ships these two, but I’m very into into Mary’s jealousy of Sara turning into hatesex, and/or a relationship where they commiserate about Laszlo’s and John’s overprotectiveness. I’d also love Sara learning to sign so she can understand Mary easier. (I really love fic/art about learning languages.)


• Lucius Isaacson & Marcus Isaacson - I love the Isaacsons so much, and their sometimes-socially-inappropriate enthusiasm about forensics is both adorable and relatable. I would love o see them working a case and/or applying new forensic techniques, or just more insight into their lives outside of the other characters on the show.

The Terror

Fandom-specific DNW: Silna noncon

I’ve never read the novel, and I know basically nothing of the actual historical Franklin Expedition (although, fun fact, John Torrington was one of my favorite preserved corpses as a child). I prefer that you don’t contradict TV canon for character appearances and personalities, but you’re welcome to borrow plot from history or the book as long as it’s understandable to a TV fan!

Please feel free to get as gory or dark as you want. Break my heart with character deaths, dwell on cannibalism or dismemberment or torture, get real gross with your descriptions of scurvy or lead poisoning. There is no such thing as too far for me in this fandom! (You don’t have to go dark if you prefer fic on the fluffier side, though!) This also goes for porn – feel free to write or draw me some real sad sex drawing on symptoms of scurvy or lead poisoning. (I’ve got a real thing for erectile dysfunction in particular.) Noncon or dubcon between my requested ships is also fine, especially the Hickey ships.

• Cornelius Hickey/Original Cornelius Hickey - I am in love with whoever nominated this! I love Hickey backstory, and I’d love to see how he decided to steal OG Hickey’s identity. Did Hickey seduce Original-Hickey in order to steal his identity, or did our Hickey decide to murder and become Original-Hickey after beginning the relationship? I’m also totally here for some erotic murder with Hickey sleeping with Original-Hickey during or soon after sleeping with him.


• Harry D. S. Goodsir & Cornelius Hickey, Harry D. S. Goodsir/Cornelius Hickey - I just want anything with these two interacting. Maybe Hickey’s attempt to manipulate Goodsir went slightly better, or Hickey decides that the best way to find out more about what’s going on on the ships is to seduce Goodsir. Or you could set something during the mutiny, their canon interactions were so deliciously tense and I’d love to see more of that atmosphere in fic or art.


• For the three Irving ships following, I’m especially into some internalized homophobia and/or Irving having a Big Gay Freakout when he realizes he’s fallen for Gibson or Hickey or both. After his little speech to Hickey about watercolors and climbing exercises, I’d love to see what he does to try and distract himself from his impure thoughts.


• William Gibson/Lt John Irving - I’m very interested in seeing these two come together after Gibson telling Irving about Hickey’s ~devious seduction~ of him, with Irving initially being concerned about Gibson’s well-being but gradually falling for him. Or maybe Gibson makes the first move – possibly, if you want to write a Gibson who’s more devious himself, starting out as a gambit to protect himself from Irving’s possible accusations by making sure Irving is equally implicated. (I am totally down for a less angsty or manipulative gift too!)


• Cornelius Hickey/Lt John Irving - Perhaps Irving sets out to reform Hickey and somehow ends up sleeping with him instead, or Hickey decides that the best way to keep Irving from reporting him to command is to seduce him. Or maybe after catching Gibson and Hickey, Irving finds himself having some very disturbing/arousing thoughts about what Hickey might do with him.


• William Gibson/Cornelius Hickey/Lt John Irving - Feel free to combine any of my prompts for Gibson/Irving or Hickey/Irving for this one. I’d also love to see Gibson taking up with Irving after breaking things off with Hickey, and Hickey getting very jealous about it and deciding to work his way back into Gibson’s heart and his pants – and if Irving is there too, all the better.


• Harry D. S. Goodsir & Lady Silence | Silna, Harry D. S. Goodsir/Lady Silence | Silna - I loved all of the interactions these two had in canon, and I want more! I am such a sucker for people learning languages, so I’d love to see more of Goodsir building his Inuktitut dictionary. Or maybe a Goodsir-lives AU where they end up living together post-canon. And as always, porn is very welcome!


• Lady Silence | Silna & Tuunbaq - I am so fascinated by them, and would love to see more of the series and Tuunbaq’s attacks from Silna’s POV. I am always here for more about Silna getting thrown into controlling a monster after the violent and unexpected death of her father. I’d also love a fix-it AU where Silna ends up able to fulfill her duties as a shaman (this doesn’t have to fix the expedition’s deaths if you don’t want, haha).


• John Bridgens/Henry Peglar - These two are so sweet together, and so tragic at the end! I love them bonding over Bridgens’ books, and would love to see them reading or talking literature together. I’d also love to see them sneaking away at some point in the show to share a more intimate moment together. I’m also totally here for a both-of-them-live AU (or a one-of-them-lives AU if you want to get real sad with it). Or show me how they met, or their first kiss!


• Captain Francis Crozier/Commander James Fitzjames - I am so here for their progression from loathing to friendship, and am fine with setting your gift anywhere along that emotional spectrum: feel free to go for hatesex, something very tender set near the finale, or anything in between. I’d love something very angsty set around Fitzjames’s death, or a they-survive AU showing how they adapt to life back in England (or in the Arctic if you leave Fitzjames there along with Crozier).


• Sophia Cracroft/Captain Francis Crozier/Commander James Fitzjames - I am always here for poly resolution to love triangles! I’d love to see some angst and polyamory panic before they get together. I’d also be really into a dynamic where Sophia is (despite herself) jealous of how much Crozier and Fitzjames have shared together on the expedition, even though the things they shared were so horrible. Or smut, especially with Sophia talking them into accepting the arrangement instead of making themselves miserable pining after each other.


• Captain Francis Crozier/Cornelius Hickey - I am very into Hickey’s initial attempts to get in good with Crozier, and would love to see Hickey pegging Crozier as into men and working with that. Or some hatesex (or hatemakeouts or otherwise antagonistic dynamics) set later in canon, post-flogging, or some noncon set after Hickey’s mutiny and capture of Crozier (perhaps with callbacks to an earlier, more consensual hookup).


• Captain Francis Crozier/Thomas Jopson - I love all of their interactions, especially Jopson nursing Crozier through withdrawal and then Crozier caring for Jopson later on. I also love the power dynamics and any fanworks playing with them. I'd love to see Jopson topping or domming as a bit of a switch-up from the usual shippy works about them, but I'm totally down for bottom and/or sub Jopson as well! I’d also love to see either or both of them feeling out their relationship pre-getting together, trying to decide if it’s safe to make a move.


• Cornelius Hickey/Thomas Jopson - I must admit I just think they would be really hot together, and I have fewer ideas about how they would end up together. Maybe some hatesex/a hatemance where Jopson, despite his disdain for Hickey, finds himself haunted by how nice Hickey’s ass is after the flogging. Or if you want to bring other requested ships into it, maybe Jopson is a rebound for Hickey after Gibson breaks things off, or Hickey notices Jopson pining after Crozier and decides to give him a taste of someone who will actually reciprocate.


• William Gibson/Cornelius Hickey - I would love to see more of their pre-canon relationship: how did they meet? What drew them to each other? I’d also love to see more of Gibson’s take on canon events and/or their relationship, since the show puts us more in Hickey’s head. Or you could show me what’s going through Gibson’s head during Hickey’s flogging, or what Hickey’s thinking when he kills Gibson.

If you’re an artist, feel free to draw the trio in your favorite historical clothes – I’m down for any historical period! I’d also love to see the aftermath of Rufus’s death and the undoing of said death, especially with Rufus coming to terms with what he’s missed and the other two having to convince themselves that he’s really back. For the romance, all of that still goes, andI’d love to see the adrenaline of a mission leading to confessions or kisses, or their first time sleeping together (especially if there are historical clothes involved, I’m a sucker for costume porn).
